Annual Safety Conference 2017 Good Corporate Governance for Managing OSH and Risks The sixth IOSH Hong Kong Annual Safety Conference and 17 th AGM and Annual Dinner will be held at the Salisbury - YMCA of Hong Kong. The Conference will provide an excellent platform for both local and overseas professionals to exchange ideas and share their experiences on the initiatives and efforts for promoting corporate governance so as to manage OSH and risks at work. Corporate Governance refers to the structures and decision making processes of an organisation to conduct affairs relating to OSH and risk management for ensuring its risks and safety are managed in an efficient and effective manner. The Conference aims to share the rationale, principles, strategies, and good practices in governing OSH and risks in order to fit within corporate governance for achieving a commonly acceptable standard. Who should attend? The conference will be relevant to executives, professionals and managerial staff, particularly safety and health professionals and those responsible for safety and health at work. Why should you attend? The conference will provide an important forum for the meaningful exchange of good practice and ideas on the initiatives and efforts for promoting corporate governance, and an excellent opportunity to share ideas, network with colleagues, make new contacts and learn from others in the profession. IOSH members are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of Hong Kong Branch immediately after the conference to hear about the branch s priorities and plans for the year ahead, and to see the new branch committee voted in.
