In rder t be cnsidered fr admissin, applicants must cmply with cllege and prgram admissin requirements prir t February 1 fr admissin t a fall NSG 101 curse. Prgressin in the Assciate Degree Nursing prgram is cntingent upn achievement f a grade f C r better in each bilgical science, nursing and mathematics curses and maintenance f a 2.0 cumulative grade pint average r better (n a 4.0 scale). Healthcare Prvider CPR requirements must be successfully cmpleted prir t enrlling in the first nursing curse and must be kept current thrughut the prgram. Dcumentatin f successful cmpletin f a minimum 75-hur nursing assistant curse, r its equivalent, and dcumentatin f digital/cmputer literacy as defined by KCTCS is required prir t enrlling in the first nursing curse. The Kentucky Bard f Nursing (KBN) may deny a nursing graduate admissin t the NCLEX-RN Exam if an individual has been cnvicted f a misdemeanr r felny that invlves acts that bear directly n the qualificatins f the graduate t practice nursing. Enrllment in the Assciate Degree Nursing prgram may be limited because f available clinical/ labratry facilities, as well as faculty and financial resurces.
