Executive Summary Mission Statement To provide a high quality, evidenced based, novel training environment for healthcare professionals that is effective, efficient and convenient. History & Company Overview WebCME began operations in 2005 with a goal of providing an innovative format for clinical education. Recognizing the limitations of education and training provided at meetings, conferences and in the classroom setting, WebCME introduced an advanced online interface to provide instruction that is effective and cost efficient. Today, WebCME is a full-fledged production company, working with high level customers to promote technologies, increase visibility and strengthen brands across the country and overseas. Recently, WebCME enhanced its online delivery platform to provide live streaming and webinars. While we have grown significantly in our abilities, offerings and technology, we are committed to providing personalized service and support. Value Proposition Today, clinicians realize now more than ever how important it is to stay current and inform oneself of the most up to date topics in hyperbaric medicine. Clinicians, however, find it cumbersome to take time from their practice, their home and families to travel to onsite training. The costs associated with these courses are also quite astonishing. WebCME has taken the unnecessary cost out of education by offering access to current evidence based information and the latest clinical technologies without disrupting a demanding professional and personal schedule. Benefits of online education include: Reduced Costs eliminate the costs associated with travel and lodging Enhanced Professional Productivity eliminate time away from practice On Demand Learning 24/7 Access review lectures and clinical videos as often as needed Balance Work and Education take the course on your time, at your convenience Better Outcomes - Students in online conditions performed modestly better, on average, than those learning the same material through traditional face-to-face instruction http://www2.ed.gov/rschstat/eval/tech/evidence-based-practices/finalreport.pdf

Course Description The Hybrid Hyperbaric Course offers practicing physicians, mid-level practitioners, nurses and other allied health professionals a comprehensive overview of Hyperbaric Medicine that includes hyperbaric physiology and mechanisms of action, the diagnosis and management of the hyperbaric medicine patient, clinical indications in additional to training in hyperbaric facility operations, safety and emergency procedures. The Hybrid Hyperbaric Course provides the ultimate educational experience for introductory hyperbaric training which exceeds the requirements established by The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services by providing 40 hours of didactic learning modules, complimented by an on-site, in person, hands-on practicum. The LIVE in-person sessions feature reiteration and review of lectures with reemphasis of important clinical concepts, focused Q&A sessions, hands-on practicums and case studies all utilized to highlight the hyperbaric team approach to care. This course provides all the educational and economic efficiencies realized via an online platform including control, comfort and compatibility. The student controls the pace, deciding when, how and where to learn. The expenses related to travel, lodging and meals are saved and the cost associated with time away from professional practice incurred with classroom courses is completely avoided. The Hybrid Hyperbaric Course is endorsed by the American College of Hyperbaric Medicine and satisfies the requirements for all Hyperbaric National and Local Coverage Determinations. COURSE OBJECTIVES This course will provide introductory background knowledge and skills in the practice of Hyperbaric Medicine. At the conclusion of this educational activity, participants should be able to: Recognize the scientific basis of Hyperbaric Medicine and apply this understanding to patient care Discuss the clinical applications of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Employ therapeutic approaches in Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care Identify all key operational components of a hyperbaric chamber Understand operational safety and fire awareness Integrate into their practices the knowledge obtained through didactic lectures and clinical case studies
