Next Steps for Presenters Thank you to all of the Partners and Project Network members that submitted presentation abstracts for potential inclusion in the Expo s technical and policy session program. Abstract topics included methane mitigation from agricultural sources, coal mines, landfills, and oil and natural gas systems, as well as cross-cutting issues such as financing, emission inventories, and policy or regulatory frameworks. Abstracts are currently being reviewed by the Methane to Markets Administrative Support Group (ASG) and the Sector Subcommittees. Applicants will receive notification of acceptance or denial by 1 December 2009. Selected abstracts will be developed into presentations for delivery during the Expo. Final electronic presentations (i.e., PowerPoint files) will be due to the ASG by 15 January 2010. International Methane Capture Marketplace One of the most significant aspects of the Expo will be the International Methane Capture Marketplace, at which project developers and other parties can highlight potential projects, many with pre-feasibility studies or preliminary assessments completed, in need of funding and/or technical assistance to move forward.
