American Legion Auxiliary Unit 615 Peggy Williams, President Hello Everyone, I am happy to report that while the final figures are not yet in (we are still accepting donations from local businesses), it looks like we are very near to reaching last year s figure. Many thanks to those members who volunteered their time to make this most worthy project a success. Our SW gift card raffle did very well and I would personally like to thank everyone who purchased raffle tickets. A member of the Marrs Meyer #991 (Worth) Post held the winning ticket. Margaritaville Nite is on the agenda as our next fundraiser August 15 th. Please mark your calendars. Final details are still being worked out and tickets will go on sale shortly. We hope to see you there. I d like to mention our new members this year: Jennifer Nichols, Olesia Moss, Kellie Barnett, Beverly Vanderveen, Sharon Spero, Lemmie Porter and Christine Benedict. Many thanks to Glenny Lynch for working with us on our fundraisers. Details matter, and Glenny is always there when we need her. New members are always welcomed. If you know of a potential member, there are always applications available at the Post. Membership on a national/state level continues to decline. I ve been advised that it is likely that there will be an increase in dues next year, but I will know more after Convention. Hope to see you at Queen of Hearts on Thursday nights! Hello everyone 3
