Nordic Innovation House-NY & Entrepreneurial Marketing Program for Nordic Creative Industries No city in the world epitomizes sales, marketing and branding like New York City

background There is a need to find new areas of development that encourage innovation and sustainable growth and development in today's society. The creative industries (CCI) have received a lot of recognition both in the EU and internationally for being industries with significant economic growth and for having a growth in employment that is higher than other industries. The creative industries also possesses a number of skills and methods that can be used successfully in other industries. With their expertise and mindset, the creative industries can contribute to greater diversity in other industries, which is essential for the innovation and transformation of the ever changing world of tomorrow. Team Nordics have, together with Nordic Innovation, created a program to help high potential CCI companies compete and succeed internationally. The program is intended to increase the companies competence within sales, marketing and branding, as well as introduce them to the competitive marketplace of New York with the assistance of experienced advisers, experts and mentors.

program proposal To help high potential Nordic CCI companies in their internationalization process, and to increase their competence in growing and scaling their businesses globally in a more successful manner with less risk, Team Nordics & Nordic Innovation is pleased to offer the following: Dedicated seats for qualified CCI companies at Nordic Innovation House - New York Participation for qualified CCI companies in the Entrepreneurial Marketing Program (run by Innovation Norway)

who can participate? The CCIs present a diverse group of industries ranging from the more tech and digitally focused to the more traditional. The creative industries refers to a range of economic activities which are concerned with the generation or exploitation of knowledge and information. They may variously also be referred to as the cultural industries (especially in Europe) or the creative economy. What we in the Nordics define as the creative economy, or the Creative & Cultural Industries (CCI), comprises: (1) architecture, (2) games, (3) design & fashion, (4) film, (5) literature, (6) music, (7) advertising, (8) media, 9) TV and radio, (10) visual arts, and (11) performing arts The creative industries have been seen to become increasingly important to economic well-being, proponents suggesting that human creativity is the ultimate economic resource", and that "the industries of the twenty-first century will depend increasingly on the generation of knowledge through creativity and innovation.
