ELU helps connect members to United Way and our work in stabilizing families and communities through education, housing & income and health. ELU provides professional development, volunteer and networking events throughout the year. Events are open to all young professionals (members and non-members). Weinberg Leadership Society Challenge Grant: With a minimum donation of, the Weinberg Leadership Society Challenge Grant recognizes your total gift at this year. C hal lenge Grants Jane B. Meyerhoff Society Challenge Grant Thanks to the generosity of Robert E. Meyerhoff, United Way of Central Maryland is able to help donors reach the Jane B. Meyerhoff Society level. A three-year grant, this is designed for donors who give a minimum of $15,000. $15,000 $20,000 We are deeply indebted to our challenge grant sponsors for their inspiration and leadership. All grant dollars are directed to United Way of Central Maryland. IMPACT INCENTIVE Undesignated dollars allow United Way of Central Maryland to make a greater impact on the root causes of the social problems facing central Maryland. By letting United Way use its expertise to focus on key areas, we can better execute our overall mission. If you donate at least of your personal Tocqueville Society gift to United Way of Central Maryland or any of its programs, we will waive all normal fees associated with a designated gift.* * Normally, designations to agencies incur a 5% fee, subject to a $5 minimum and cap of. Eligible nonprofits include any 501c(3) organization or another United Way. Minimum donation of $100 is required for each designation, or it will revert to United Way of Central Maryland.
