Validity In Malaysia, the ISIC is valid for 12 months from date of issue. How to apply You must be a full time student at least 12 years of age to apply for ISIC. Simply complete the application form and either post it or take it to your nearest MSL Travel office. In addition to this form, the following items are required: i. All Students travelling abroad for studies, must show proof they have paid their fees partially or fully for their studies. Student Visas stamps on the passport may also be required. ii. Malaysian Students studying in local institutions must produce letters issued by the local institutions on their respective official letterheads. Only original letters are accepted. Student Cards issued by local universities stating current academic year may be accepted. iii. Foreign Students studying in Malaysia must produce letters issued by the local institutions on their respective official letterheads. Only original letters are accepted. A photocopy of passport and student visa is also required. Contact the ISIC issuing office for more details if required.
