ACBSP has three affiliated honor societies One to serve member schools that do not yet have ACBSP accreditation: Sigma Beta Delta One for accredited associate degree schools: Kapa Beta Delta One for accredited baccalaureate/graduate degree schools: Delta Mu Delta
Honor society chapters are a prestigious addition to school campuses, and provide value for both the business unit and its students. Honor societies recognize excellence among peers, and membership is a mark of distinction for students. All three ACBSP affiliated honor societies offer professional development, networking and scholarship and/or fellowship opportunities for their members.
The official badge of the Society is a gold key in the form of a Delta with a ship of commerce with full-blown sails and the Greek letters ΔΜΔ engraved on it. The ship symbolizes financial success and the advancement of business while the letters stand for the Society's motto, Dia Mathessos, Dynamis - "Through Knowledge, Power", specifically the power to manage creatively for social and economic good.
