COP 20 outcomes on technology 2013 joint report of TEC and CTCN Draft text prepared by SB 40 (June 2014) 2014 joint report of TEC and CTCN The COP: Welcomed TEC and CTCN 2014 work to facilitate effective implementation of Tech Mechanism Encouraged TEC and CTCN to continue to enhance coherence and synergy in the work of TM TEC Recognized TEC key messages on climate technology financing, technologies for adaptation and technology needs assessments Requested TEC to continue work on enabling environment and barriers as per TEC workplan Requested TEC to provide guidance on how TNA results, especially TAPs, can be developed into projects that can be implemented 3

SBI 41 outcomes on technology Poznan strategic programme on technology transfer The SBI: Noted GEF progress to align GEF climate technology centres with CTCN work Invited GEF to report on this collaboration in its future reports Noted TEC will undertake in 2015 the evaluation of Poznan strategic programme with the aim of enhancing TM effectiveness Invited TEC to provide interim report in June and final report to COP 21 on this evaluation 5

ADP 2.7 outcomes on technology COP 20 decision: Lima Call for Climate Action Workstream 1 Technology is one of the key elements under ADP consideration (decision 1/CP.17, para 5) COP 20 decision, annex, section H, contains elements on technology: Long-term technology goal General Commitments Institutional arrangements, including anchoring and strengthening of Technology Mechanism Workstream 2 The COP decided to: Continue technical examination of opportunities with high mitigation potential, including those with adaptation, health and sustainable development co-benefits, in period 2015-2020 Continue TEMs, which build on and utilize activities of, and further enhance collaboration and synergies among i.a., the TEC and the CTCN 6
