Accelerated (Transcel) Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN ABOUT THE PROGRAM Transcel Program The Nursing Program at Stockton is grounded in the Roy (2016) Adaptation Model. Sr. Callista Roy considers the goal of nursing as promoting adaptation and provided the stimulus to develop a framework that looks at people and groups as having abilities to deal with changes in the environment. However, with the help of nurses who understand people and their environments their adaptations can move effectively toward health (http://www.bc.edu/sites/nurse-theorist/the_roy_adaptationmodel.html, 2016).
