Mobility is an important added value in a global world.

The EASDIB in numbers (2014-2015): 16 inter-institutional agreements. 11 countries. 1 consortium with CAEB for traineeships. 464 students. (27,80 % short cycle students) (72,20 % undergraduate students) (3,02 % Erasmus+ student mobility) 51 teaching staff. (13,73 % Erasmus+ staff mobility) 10 non-teaching staff.

Students Mobility for Studies (outgoing): 50%, Portugal. 25%, France. 17%, Italy. 8%, Poland. Students Mobility for Studies (incoming): 19%, Portugal. 37%, France. 25%, Bulgaria 19%, Poland. Students Mobility for Traineeships (outgoing): 50%, The Netherlands. 50%, United Kingdom.

Staff Mobility for Teaching (outgoing): 50%, France. 50%, Greece. Staff Mobility for Teaching (incoming): 50%, France. 50%, Greece. Staff Mobility for Training (outgoing): 33%, Portugal. 67%, France. Staff Mobility for Training (incoming): 100%, Romania.

It's important to say that the EASDIB could NOT offer internships abroad without the consortium with the CAEB.

To promote a wide international network for education and open cooperation. To provide an inter-multi-cross-cultural environment for teaching and learning. To encourage students and staff to take and international experience. To contribute to the consolidations of the Erasmus+ programme. To foster the transfer of knowledge. To enhance the curricula.

Main benefits for companies and other organizations: To demand competent workers, as an international experience is important for recruitment. Main benefits for the Society: To create a different mind set. To increase the attractiveness of Europe. To promote active European citizenship. To honour the Erasmus+ programme slogan, that is changing lives and opening minds.

Mobility is hard and challenging, but it worth it.
