Clark Creek Industrial Park Features Well Established City Water and Sewer Services Close to multiple Highways and Interstates Lincoln County Supporting Incentives Lincoln County is diligent in keeping the cost of government low as an incentive for local industry expansion and provide an attractive environment for new industry locations. To further support initial costs associated with local industry expansions as well as new location of industries, Lincoln County has adopted an Industrial Development Incentive Grant Program. The maximum amount of the financial grant is determined in accordance with the provisions of the program and specified in the contract between the County and the company. For qualifying capital investment by new or expanding industries, the financial grant incentive is calculated based on the prevailing property tax rate at the time of contract execution and paid direct to the company over a 5 or 7 year period. The minimum capital investment threshold is $1,000,000. Grants will range between 65% and 95% of property taxes paid. While Lincoln County does not require certain wage standards or job creation goals to qualify for financial incentive grants, we do expect job creation and wage standards of qualifying companies be at a level to enhance the standard of living for our people and communities. North Carolina Incentives North Carolina s targeted, performance-based incentive programs greatly lessen the tax burden and lower the overall costs, helping companies who are locating and doing business in our state to Thrive. Companies that meet certain requirements can take advantage of tax credits and other incentives, including sales and use tax discounts, exemptions and refunds, discretionary programs and other cost-saving programs. Check with LEDA on the most current North Carolina and local incentives that you may qualify for. Our decision to invest in North Carolina was the result of a long and involved process starting with the review of over 100 properties. In the end, Lincoln County was our choice for many reasons including the support of the local and state agencies, the strong local labor force, the value aspects of the community that match Aptar values, and the strength of the local college educational system and its support of business training. As planned, we began shipping products from our Lincolnton facility in early 2012. Our customers have been impressed with the site s production capabilities and its overall appearance and cleanliness. We are extremely pleased with the efforts made by our employees to create this wonderful state-of-the-art facility. Steve Hagge- President and Chief Executive Officer of AptarGroup, Inc.
