The Mount Union Area Board of Education transacted the following business at a regular public meeting held on : 1. Granted approval to submit application for Impact Aid funds for the 2016-2017 school year. 2. Approved continuing the 3-year Agreement with Odysseyware for online curriculum. 3. Approved the listing of electronic items declared of no value to the District that were picked up for recycling at no cost to the District. 4. Approved adding three individuals to the listing of approved drivers for District owned vehicles effective for the 2016-2017 school year pending receipt of necessary paperwork. 9. Approved two requests from Statewide Tax Recovery, Inc. for exoneration from delinquent per capita taxes. 10. Approved to pay Mr. Kirk Stevens one half ($2,000.00) of the Head Football Coaching Salary for the time served as Head Football Coach for the 2016-2017 season.

Approved the request from Mrs. Maurine Hockenberry to complete her approved Principal Practicum proposal through Saint Francis University starting in January 2017 with Mrs. Dawn Holesa serving as her mentor and with some projects being extended to the secondary level working with either Mr. Curt Whitesel or Ms. Amy Smith due to the principal certification covering K-12. 13. Named Ms. Stana Stewart and Ms. Toyia Price as paid Assistant Girls Basketball Coaches for the 2016-2017 season. 14. Named Mr. Kyle Wise as a paid Assistant Boys Basketball Coach for the 2016-2017 season pending receipt of necessary paperwork. 15.
