Revision 2.0 Program Details: What s New for Revision 2.0 for Fiscal Year 2017 and beyond! Redemption of Points now are for Training or Products (2 choices); refer to the Points Redemption Details section. Silver & Gold Level ASI Sales requirements include a minimum HVAC dollar volume instead of a minimum percentage of your total sales. Refer to the Authorized System Integrator (ASI) Certification section for further details. Training Requirements for Controller software (PCT) & Supervisory Controllers include a wider variety of choices. Refer to each ASI Level section and look for the Training Requirements for more information. All ASI Contractors must enroll and keep current our Annual Software Maintenance Package renewed every October (Part # LP-FXYBREN-0). Refer to the Authorized System Integrator (ASI) Certification section for further details. Buying from more than one ABCS Distributor? Set up a separate Account for each of them and Johnson Controls Administrator will aggregate your sales towards any ASI Level, or other applicable programs. See this first section for more details. Points Plus Program Details Effective October 1, 2016 (JCI FY17): This is a program administered by Johnson Controls BAS & Controls Product Distribution Group for the ABCS Distribution Channel only. Johnson Controls reserves the right to modify or eliminate the program at any time. There is no cost to participate in the POINTS PLUS Contractor Rewards Program. The program is designed to provide rewards benefits based on purchases of Johnson Controls Facility Explorer Building Automation & related controls products thru an Authorized ABCS Distributor. In addition, your sales and training may qualify you to become an Authorized System Integrator (ASI) with additional benefits (detailed later in the document). Contractors interested in joining the program can sign up by going to the following website, www.johnsoncontrols.com/pointsplus and click on the link in the upper right corner Join Points Plus.

Joining the Points Plus program requires sponsorship by an ABCS Distributor, as well as approvals by both the ABCS Distributor and Johnson Controls. You have the ability to earn points from more than one ABCS Distributor. To protect the privacy of your purchases, we recommend signing up for a separate account, for each ABCS Distribution Sponsor you purchase thru. The Johnson Controls Administrator will total your points from all accounts when considering your ASI level should you meet those requirements. Point redemption shall be separate for each account and will be processed thru the ABCS Distribution sponsor separately. ASI point bonuses shall be added in proportionate values to each active account you have. For example, if a contractor purchases $20,000 in sales from ABCS-Dist A and $30,000 from ABCS-Dist B and achieves the ASI Bronze level, this qualifies the contractor for a total of 5000 bonus points. We will submit the bonus points in each account as 2000 & 3000 points respectively. When redeeming points, you would have a total of 22,000 points for redemption thru ABCS-Dist A, and 33,000 points from ABCS-Dist B in this example. The redemption of points cannot be combined and submitted to an ABCS- Distributor. We recommend that you make sure that you use the same contractor name for all accounts, including the address. Points are accrued based upon monthly purchases of Johnson Controls qualified products from your local Johnson Controls Authorized ABCS Distributor. Each dollar spent equals one (1) point. From time to time Johnson Controls (at their sole discretion) may run promotional specials for added bonus points on various products usually a new product being launched, or a product or group of products highlighted for a defined period of time. As long as you remain active, in good standing, and continue to meet the minimum revenue program requirements, your points will continue to accumulate. In the event a company does not place qualifying orders for six (6) consecutive months, the points will expire and participation in the program shall be forfeited. Purchases made thru your Johnson Controls Authorized ABCS Distributor Sponsor in the previous month will be uploaded into your account, typically prior to the end of the current month. It is the responsibility of the ABCS Distributor Sponsor to submit all sales transactions using the formats that we have provided. If you do not have the template (ABCS Distributors only), please contact your Account Manager or the Program Administrator for a copy. Sales are typically expected to be submitted monthly. The Rewards Points have no cash value, they cannot be redeemed for cash. Once you have been accepted into the program thru your ABCS Distributor sponsor, you can access your account on the ASI Portal by clicking on the Sign in link at the top of the page. Enter your email address and password used when applying for the program to obtain access. Here you will find information on your sales history, points, and other account functions on the website. By accessing your account, you can access your REWARDS tab, and see all the information concerning awards that are available and how to redeem your points for these awards. Points can be redeemed for FX Products or FX Training.

Authorized System Integrator (ASI) Certification Annual sales volumes referred to in this section are in accordance with Johnson Controls fiscal calendar, which runs from October 1 st thru September 30 th. All levels of ASI achievement will also require the contractor to enroll in and keep current our Annual Software Maintenance Package which renews every October (Part # LP-FXYBREN-0). In addition, the following Workbench software quantities shall be active (Part # LP-FXWBDEM-0): Bronze Level 1 License Silver Level 2 Licenses Gold Level 3 Licenses If you have achieved any of the ASI Levels in FY16, you have until December 15, 2016 to enroll in the program and activate your software. If you attained the Gold ASI level status in FY16 and are already enrolled, your renewal fee due in October will be paid for by Johnson Controls. Please place your order prior to October 31 st, and have your ABCS Distributor forward a copy of that order to their Account Manager. The Account Manager will follow up and issue you a credit for the entire amount and update your licenses. If you attained Gold for FY16 and were not enrolled in the program, you have until October 31 st to enroll, but your signup fee is your responsibility (Part # LP-FXSIGNUP-0). In order to become an ASI, the following criteria must be met: Bronze Level Total Sales Volume: The total annual sales volume to an Authorized ABCS Distributor must equal or exceed $50,000 in Facility Explorer and other associated Johnson Controls products within a single fiscal year. Once a contractor has been approved as a participant in the Rewards Program and begins placing orders, sales volumes will accrue. Once the contractor has met all of the sales and training requirements for one of the ASI Levels, they will be issued an ASI Certificate. Once the Bronze ASI Level has been achieved, the contractor s ASI Certificate is valid until the end of the following fiscal year. If for any reason an ASI does not submit at least $50,000 in qualifying orders during the next full fiscal year after they have qualified for the certification, the ASI certification shall expire, along with all privileges associated with the program. For example, if a contractor qualifies for the ASI Certification on June 15, 2016, then this contractor must have the minimum sales volume of $50,000 for the period beginning on October 1, 2016 and continuing thru September 30, 2017 in order to retain the ASI Certification and receive a renewal certificate, which will be valid thru September 30, 2018 in this example. Training Requirements: The Bronze Level ASI must have at least one (1) employee trained by our Johnson Controls Training Institute for the 4714 FX-PCT training, and one of the following Supervisory Controller Training Classes; JCI 4701, 4720C, Tridium N4 or Tridium AX certificates. PCT 4714 training confirmation shall also be acceptable from any of our JCI ABCS Distributors who have successfully completed the Train the Trainer classes as long as they follow the proper procedures detailed in accordance with instructions given to each of

those trainers. This includes submitting a list of attendees, placing an order for the appropriate number of class manuals to the training center, then submitting these to the Points Plus Program Administrator for our records. Electronic versions of these certificates shall be submitted online on the contractor s account. We encourage you to submit your training certificates as soon as possible so they can be reviewed and approved where applicable. The website will accept PDF documents. Keep in mind that the names of the files must not have any spaces or special characters in order to upload them successfully. They are submitted by signing into your contractor account, then clicking on the Admin tab and scrolling down to the appropriate portion of this page. When submitting more than one certificate for a category, please be sure to scan it as one document and submit it that way. Silver Level Total Sales Volume: The total annual sales volume to an Authorized ABCS Distributor must equal or exceed $100,000 in Facility Explorer and other associated Johnson Controls products within a single fiscal year. The contractor must have purchased $35,000 of their total sales in HVAC/R Johnson Controls I/O products. Once a contractor has been approved as a participant in the Program and begins placing orders, sales volumes will accrue. If for any reason an ASI does not submit at least $100,000 in qualifying orders for the next full fiscal year (of which a minimum of $35,000 is HVAC/R products) after they have qualified for the certification, the Silver Level ASI certification shall be forfeited, but the Bronze Level ASI privileges may be retained provided those sales are at least $50,000. For example, if a contractor qualifies for the ASI Certification on June 15, 2016, then this contractor must have the minimum sales volume of $100,000 total (and $35,000 of this must be HVAC/R sales) for the period beginning on October 1, 2016 and continuing thru September 30, 2017 in order to retain the Silver ASI Certification and receive a renewal certificate, which will be valid thru September 30, 2018 in this example. The product mix must be such that there is a minimum of $35,000 of the contractor s total sales volume in HVAC/R qualifying orders. If for any reason this minimum is not met during the next fiscal year (as detailed above for the sales volume), but otherwise meets the aforementioned requirements of the Bronze Level, then the ASI Certification reverts to the Bronze Level. If the Silver Level ASI does not meet the minimum requirements of the Bronze Level ASI, the ASI certification shall expire, along with all rights associated with the ASI program. Training Requirements: The Silver Level ASI must have at least two (2) employees trained by our Johnson Controls Training Institute for the 4714 FX-PCT training and one of the following Supervisory Controller Training Classes; JCI 4701, 4720C, Tridium N4 or Tridium AX certificates. PCT 4714 training confirmation shall also be acceptable from any of our JCI ABCS Distributors who have successfully completed the Train the Trainer classes as long as they follow the proper procedures detailed in accordance with instructions given to each of those trainers.

In addition, our top Silver Level ASI s shall receive recognition at our Customer Business Conference based on sales from the previous fiscal year of Johnson Controls (the fiscal year runs from October 1 thru September 30). Gold Level Total Sales Volume: The total annual sales volume to an Authorized ABCS Distributor must equal or exceed $250,000 in Facility Explorer and other associated Johnson Controls products within a single fiscal year. Once a contractor has been approved as a participant in the Program and begins placing orders, sales volumes will accrue. If for any reason an ASI does not submit at least $250,000 in qualifying orders for the next full fiscal year (of which a minimum of $100,000 is HVAC/R products) after they have qualified for the certification, the Gold Level ASI certification shall be forfeited, but the Silver or Bronze Level ASI privileges may be retained provided all of the applicable requirements have been met. For example, if a contractor qualifies for the ASI Certification on June 15, 2016, then this contractor must have the minimum sales volume of $250,000 total (and $100,000 of this must be HVAC/R sales) for the period beginning on October 1, 2016 and continuing thru September 30, 2017 in order to retain the Gold ASI Certification and receive a renewal certificate, which will be valid thru September 30, 2018 in this example. If the Gold Level ASI does not meet the minimum requirements of the Silver or Bronze Level ASI, the ASI certification shall be forfeited, along with all rights associated with the ASI program. Training Requirements: The Gold Level ASI must have at least three (3) employees trained by our Johnson Controls Training Institute for the 4714 FX-PCT training and one of the following Supervisory Controller Training Classes; JCI 4701, 4720C, Tridium N4 or Tridium AX certificates. PCT 4714 training confirmation shall also be acceptable from any of our JCI ABCS Distributors who have successfully completed the Train the Trainer classes as long as they follow the proper procedures detailed in accordance with instructions given to each of those trainers. This includes submitting a list of attendees, placing an order for the appropriate number of class manuals to the training center, then submitting these to the Points Plus Program Administrator for our records. They are submitted by signing into your contractor account, then clicking on the Admin tab and scrolling down to the appropriate portion of this page. When submitting more than one certificate for a category, please be sure to scan it as one document and submit it that way.

Additional Benefits: Upon reaching and maintaining the Gold Level, Johnson Controls shall waive the annual software Maintenance fees that come due during the time the contractor has retained this level. This refers to the Johnson Controls part # LP-FXYBREN-0 which is typically billed thru your ABCS Distributor. Please refer to the beginning of this section for further details on this benefit. In addition, our top Gold Level ASI s shall receive recognition at our Customer Business Conference based on sales from the previous fiscal year of Johnson Controls (the fiscal year runs from October 1 thru September 30). Other Program Details Bonus Points For Bronze, Silver & Gold level contractors that achieve these levels with current sales within any 12 month period of Johnson Controls Fiscal year (October 1 thru September 30), the following bonus points shall be awarded: Bronze 5,000 bonus points Silver 10,000 bonus points Gold 25,000 bonus points In the event an ASI Certified employee leaves your company, you have six (6) months grace period to provide the training certificates for another employee without losing your ASI Certification status level. As you move through the POINTS PLUS Contractor Rewards Program to higher levels, there are also requirements for a higher quantity of ASI Certified Employees. If you are at the Bronze level with a single ASI Certified employee, and that employee leaves your company, if you do not backfill within the grace period, the ASI certification shall be forfeited, along with all rights associated with the ASI program. If an employee leaves their current company that is a certified ASI, and moves to another company that is either a certified ASI or intends to become a certified ASI, those credentials can be maintained. An employee will have six (6) months grace period to begin working with a certified ASI contractor, or risk losing the certification. Building Automation systems include many parts, not all of which are controllers and supervisors. Johnson Controls has a very broad product offering that includes valves, actuators, sensors, dampers, etc. that are required for most systems. By leveraging a system approach, and working to package the system with the support of your ABCS Distributor, you can maximize your point accrual and move through the ranks of the program. These products are necessary to achieve and maintain the Silver & Gold level status, and all of the associated benefits. Once you have qualified for any of the ASI levels, you are required to read and agree to Johnson Controls terms and conditions before you can use any of our trademarks for marketing or advertising. In addition, you will be required to review and abide by the proper uses of these trademarks and logos. By accessing your Contractor account, you can access your DOWNLOAD tab, and see all the information regarding the proper use of the ASI brand and logo s. These brand guidelines will be strictly enforced, and failure to follow the guidelines could cause termination of the program. In addition, the contractor must check the box indicating that they have read and agree to the guidelines. Once completed, reach out to the Account Manager or the Program Administrator for an electronic version of the logo.

Johnson Controls ABCS Distributors will be responsible for all the sales from any contractor involved in the program, and shall manage all sales and deliveries. Johnson Controls ABCS Distributors work in mutually agreed upon geographic territories. Check with your sponsor to understand and adhere to those territories in your area. Today, Gold is the highest level of certification. Johnson Controls reserves the right to add additional levels and/or expand the program in the future at our discretion. Award Recognition (ASI Silver & Gold Levels only) Each year, Johnson Controls selects our top three customers who have achieved the highest level of sales or year-over-year growth, and we recognized them at our Customer Business Conference. They receive recognition in front of their peers, an attractive award for their office, and a cash bonus. During the next Johnson Controls Customer Business Conference, we will add the top ASI s to this recognition. Points Redemption Details: As stated earlier, $1 in qualifying sales is equal to 1 point in the program. There are two (2) categories for the redemption of points. They are as follows: Johnson Controls Products Johnson Controls Training 1) Johnson Controls Products: This includes all BAS, HVAC, REF, & OTHER controls products offered through the BAS & Controls Division. Using Redemption Certificates for these purchases requires that the purchase order be of equal or greater value than the certificate. A. 100 points = $1 Certificate (1% of your total points redeemed) that can be used to purchase these products thru your ABCS Distributor. B. Bronze Level ASI Contractors; 100 points = $2 Certificate (2% of your total points redeemed) that can be used to purchase these products thru your ABCS Distributor. C. Silver Level ASI Contractors; 100 points = $2.50 Certificate (2.5% of your total points redeemed) that can be used to purchase these products thru your ABCS Distributor. D. Gold Level ASI Contractors; 100 points = $3 Certificate (3% of your total points redeemed) that can be used to purchase these products thru your ABCS Distributor. 2) FX Training Any of the Johnson Controls Learning Institute Training classes: 100 points = $2 Certificate towards training (2% of your sales volume), with a maximum certificate value of 50% of the training fee. For Example, a class was taken on April 1, 2016 and the training class fee was $2,000. The contractor can use up to 50,000 points and receive up to a $1,000 credit for the successful completion of the class. If you plan to use points for this purpose, please follow these steps: A. register for the class and pay 50% of the class fee B. Communicate to the training center that you intend to use points to cover the other half of the fee. C. Go to the Rewards tab on your contractor account and redeem the appropriate amount of points for the remaining balance on the training fee (at the 2% dollar value). D. Make sure you complete the course name and attendee name on the certificate. E. Indicate the date the course was taken.

F. Click on the Redeem button to complete the redemption. If done properly, you will get an email with a copy of the certificate. G. The Program Administrator will review and validate the redemption, then issue the credit to the Training Center on your behalf to pay the balance. If you do not have the available points to cover this, you are responsible for any outstanding balance due to the training center. In order to redeem points that have been earned in the program, the contractor should do the following: A. Sign in to their Account. B. Click on the Rewards Tab. C. Scroll down until you see the View Rewards heading and click on this. A window will pop up showing the 2 different types of rewards; Products or Training. D. You can now click on any of the 2 Icons (photos) and a Redemption Certificate will appear for that category (yes they are each different) and you can then fill this in online.

This one below is the Products Certificate E. Fill this out completely and then click on the button. This will generate a redemption certificate that will be emailed to the ABCS Dist Sponsor, the JCI Account Manager, & the Program Administrator. F. Then submit an order for JCI products of equal or greater value to your ABCS Distributor and they will take care of it. Our Account Manager will work with the ABCS to process it.
