Your submission will be nominated for 8 award categories as follows: ASEAN Risk Champion This award is given to organization that has proven itself to lead innovation in Risk Management. The elements that are going to be judged comprise success in delivering superior value to the company through integrated risk management. ASEAN GRC Awards This award recognizes organization with outstanding capability in conducting good governance, implementing risk management, and complying with the government regulations. The judges will search for evidence that the organization is able to transform its overall performance through an integrated use of GRC. Risk Innovation As innovation leads us to a better world, we are delighted to discover companies that have contributed to the advancement of risk management knowledge and practice by finding new ways in its implementation. Winning factor lies heavily on success in creating or implementing new and creative approach in risk management. Risk Technology Risk Technology is given to consulting firms for utilizing or inventing new technology to deliver a seamless risk management practices. Judges will look for firms that have successfully used technological solutions to strengthen their capability in managing risks.
Public Initiative This award celebrates innovation in public sector as it helps many citizens live a better life. Participants of this category should prove their accomplishment in designing or creating creative solutions that has or is expected to serve public interest. Public Risk Public Risk Award is given to a public organization that has invented innovative risk management initiatives. The judges are looking for those who have created new, effective ways in managing uncertainties faced by their country. Risk Educator We are also in search for the most innovative risk educator in Southeast Asia. This award will be given to organization that has invented and implemented new, innovative ways to learn Risk Management. The elements that are going to be judged involve success in delivering and using innovative form of GRC/risk education methods such as training techniques, e-learning platforms, workshops, seminar or any other forms of learning. Risk Manager of The Year Risk Manager of the Year Award acknowledges the outstanding performance by a risk management professional who has put a remarkable effort in reinforcing the implementation of risk management s best practice and inspiring their team. The aspects that need to be recognized in this individual include the ability to effectively communicate the importance of risk management within the corporate structure, the ability to seek innovative approaches for solving complex problems, and the possession of outstanding leadership skills & ability to help others develop quality risk management programs.

ASEAN Risk Awards 2017 is open to all organizations with a formal and legal presence in Southeast Asia. In order to participate, registrants have to meet the eligibility requirements stated in the following pages.
Entry Eligibility For organizations All categories except Risk Management of The Year There is no limit to the number of nomination entries or categories you may submit and enter. The organizer assumes that all entries are original and have been granted an official permission from the nominated organization. In the event that a nomination is entered without such rights, the entrant will not be eligible for evaluation. ASEAN Risk Awards is not liable for any copyright infringement on the part of the entrant. The work and credentials that are submitted to the awards must have been in place for at least part of the 2017 calendar year. The nomination form and supporting information will be the sole basis for the nomination. Nomination entries are only accepted through the available online nomination form. All nominations received through any other form will not be considered.
Entry Eligibility For individual Risk Management of The Year category The candidate does not need to practice the risk management full-time, but the candidate must be a full-time employee of the organization for which he or she practices risk management. The candidate may be nominated by anyone familiar with his or her work, such as a superior, a risk management staff, a colleague from another company, or broker, insurer as well as service supplier.
Judging Panelist The ASEAN Risk Awards is judged by experts from across the industry and discipline, so being shortlisted or winning is no mean feat. You ll go through our rigorous judging process, which includes reviews and votes. The judges will work to maintain the awards at the highest standards in the region. Every judge member is independent and receives no personal or financial benefit from their participation. Judges are invited to participate in the competition based on their experience, business acumen and expertise. Each panel includes different nationalities and they are naturally well-versed in the cultural aspects of each finalist s country.

Colin Adams Board Member of ERMA Australia, CEO Standing Wave Limited Australia With over 25 years experience in international business and relation, Mr. Adam has led and managed projects involving a wide range of stakeholders including large multinational corporations and public sector in Australia, South America and Asia. Leo J Susilo Principal of CRMS Indonesia Leo J Susilo is one of the leading consultants for corporate governance and integrated risk management. He is one of the pioneers in promoting the adoption of best practices of corporate governance in Indonesia. Ly Xuan Thu IFC World Bank Corporate, Governance Group, Senior Expert-Risk Management Ms. Ly Xuan Thu is a Certified in Risk Management Assurance, a member of IIA Singapore, a member of ACFE, and a board member of Pan-Asia Risk and Insurance Management Association based in Singapore.

Tim Corbett Board Member of ERMA, USA, President of SmartRisk USA Tim Corbett is a highly accomplished investment executive (CFA, FSA) with substantial experience developing and leading sound investment policies and strategies for diverse portfolios. Marc Schaedeli ERMA Eastern Europe Regional Director During his 20 years in risk management, Marc has built up ERM expertise including Loss Prevention and Business Continuity. He is also an experienced risk assessment facilitator with more than 750 projects. Gordon Song Head of Group Risk & Internal Audit, Lazada Group, Singapore Gordon is the Head of Group Risk & Internal Audit in Lazada, where he leads a team providing risk assurance. He was actively involved in the development of the ERM practice as well as introduction of new methodologies and techniques to clients.
