The Health Care Sector includes places where people go to receive preventive care or treatment, or emergency health care services, such as hospitals, private doctors' offices, and community clinics. Your responses will help guide the CRIHB ACORNS team's collaborative assistance to your tribal community's chronic disease prevention and management efforts. Policies can be either legislative or organizational in nature. is the physical, social, or economic factors designed to influence people's practices and behaviors. Physical Structural changes or the presence of programs or services, including the presence of healthy food choices, improvements in the built environment, and the availability of services to patients or workers. Social A positive change in attitudes or behavior about policies that promote health or an increase in supportive attitudes regarding a health practice. Economic The presence of financial disincentives or incentives to encourage a desired behavior. 7
