As a graduating senior at Montwood High School, I accept responsibility for fulfilling the following obligations and agree to inform my parents of the requirements that I must meet. I realize that failure to adhere to these obligations will prevent me from participation in the graduation ceremony Friday, May 27, 2016. I understand that: I will turn in the Senior Contract by Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the Rehearsal. I must attend all classes and Senior events scheduled during Senior week or I will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony. Monday report to all classes 1 st - 8 th. A regular school schedule Tuesday report to the gyms for clearance. You must receive a ticket number Wednesday report to Tony Harper Gym by 8:45 AM for rehearsal Thursday report to Tony Harper Gym by 8:45 AM for awards ceremony and rehearsal Thursday participate in Administration cookout lunch and Senior Class Field Day 12:45-4:00 PM Friday report to Tony Harper Gym for Chick-fil-a breakfast @8:00 AM and Final Rehearsal, Seniors will be released at 10:30 AM. I must successfully complete all graduation requirements by Friday, May 27, 2016. I must make sure all debts are cleared with Mrs. De La Rosa, coaches, and/or sponsors no later than 4:00 PM Tuesday, May 24, 2016. I may be denied the opportunity to participate in the graduation ceremony if I am involved in any serious discipline event the remainder of the 2016 school year, to include Senior week events May 23 rd - 27 th. I will adhere to the graduation dress code and regalia requirements. I will be on time to the graduation ceremony. Arrive at 1:00 PM. I will be removed from the line up immediately and not allowed to participate in the ceremony if I display any distracting materials or exhibit any inappropriate behavior. This includes items displayed on cap or gowns and medals other than those approved by the school administration. I will not carry anything into the Don Haskins Stadium that will disrupt the ceremony (cell phones must be set to silent, blow horns, cameras, ipods, silly string, beach balls, selfie sticks, and any items as referenced on the UTEP prohibited items). I agree to be courteous during the entire ceremony and refrain from any activity that is disrupting, distracting or dangerous. I will be removed from the graduation ceremony if I exhibit any inappropriate behavior during the ceremony. I understand that if I violate this I will be subject to school discipline prior to receiving my diploma. CAPS All graduates should place their cap with the point in the middle of the forehead. This will allow the cap to sit squarely on the head. The cap should be worn flat and not tilted on the head. Tassels are worn on the right side. Caps are NOT to be decorated. Rules and Regulations of the Don Haskins Center For the safety and comfort of the audience, the following items will not be permitted into the arena: Strollers, Alcohol, food and beverages, pets, laser pointers, audio/video recorders, weapons, fireworks, bottles/containers, umbrellas, coolers/ice chests, signs/banners, or helium balloons. There is no check-in area for disallowed items, so please leave them in your car! All patrons are subject to a search and/or wanding by security personnel. Promoters, security and performers are not responsible for any items or personal property voluntarily surrendered during search procedures at the entrance. There is no selling of any kind on UTEP property. There is an ATM in the UTEP Ticket Center. Concessions will be sold at the event. Merchandise can be purchased with a credit card. There is a public phone available in the venue. It is located on the North East section of the concourse across from Section D. The UTEP Don Haskins Center prohibits smoking in all seating areas and aisle ways. Please be aware that the Police Department will be present to enforce state and local ordinances. Please respect other s rights to hear their child s name called and refrain from yelling.
