Research themes Food & lifestyle Within the Willemspoort Food&health campus, in a region that excels in AgroFood, JBZ sets up research and development around food and lifestyle. Examples are projects in the field of obesity, (food)allergies, undernourishment in elderly and chronic bowel pain. Safety Safety is one of the most important values of JBZ. Also in the field of scientific research and innovation safety is a main focus point. Examples are in medication safety and patient safety (e.g. delirium). Health chains Health care is ever more often organised in health chains, with close connections between health care professionals and continuity of care. Both development and evaluation of health chains take place in JBZ, like the development of continuous care for vulnerable elderly or care pathways for obesity.
