OKBOMB- USA v. Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols: Oklahoma City bombing causing 163 deaths and resulting in three federal and state death penalty trials. CENTBOM- USA v. Eric Rudolph: Multiple bombings in southeast US resulting in numerous deaths including the Centennial Park bombing in Atlanta during the 1996 Summer Olympics. TWA Flight 800 Criminal investigation of the crash of TWA Flight 800 off Long Island killing all on board. PIJ USA v. Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Sami Al-Arian, et al: Investigation, prosecution, conviction and dismantlement of an active terrorist cell operating in the US. This prosecution included numerous international money laundering counts for funds transfers from Florida to terrorists in the Middle East. POWER DOWN- USA v. Southeastern States Alliance, Don Beauregard, et al: National undercover operation, prosecution and conviction of a domestic terrorism militia group targeting US power facilities during Y2K. CEXC Afghanistan/Pakistan: Assigned to the Combined Explosives Exploitation Cell (CEXC) in Afghanistan, and later Pakistan, during Operation Enduring Freedom working improvised explosives devices. FBI Lou Peters National Award, presented by FBI Director Louie Freeh for successfully operating the national FBI undercover operation Power Down (discussed above) from 1997 2000 which investigated, prosecuted, convicted and dismantled a terrorist cell and prevented a terrorist act on US soil..
