While many could be discussed highlights would be: In 70 s Cattle to Haiti and School project in Jamaica Brace project in West Africa Dr Hobbs and Marion/Bill Irwin Dr Hobbs in India with first Measles vaccine and later Polio vaccine/training centres. 1. Kenyan Rift Valley Project establishing Water Tanks in villages throughout the Rift Valley. Coordinated by RC Eglinton. Wash (Water Sanitation & Hygiene) Project - $150,000 project - 6 Water harvest tanks at 3 High Schools and 3 Public Schools. Looking at their budget $27k is for the tanks and $115k is for latrines. 2. Malawi- Dignitas (Dr James Orbinski)/Rotary project for AIDS support Coordinated by Rotary Club of Uxbridge. $131,000 project that train/support over 100 Expert Patient Mothers working out of 46 health centres to monitor be leaders in their community. 3. South African projects on literacy and training. 2 GG projects - May 2012: - Mansfield Mission Project with RC of Port Shepstone for $40,150 US.Still underway with final report coming. Education and training. - Amandawe Literacy Project with RC of Scottsburgh for $39250 US + $3,000 training. 4. Karanda Mission Hospital Zimbabwe- and Dr Paul Thistle Global Grant - July 2015. This is a $57,000 US project to upgrade replace the Water system at Karanda Mission Hospital Partnered with 4 other clubs $17,000 from clubs was matched by District and RI to become $57,000.

First contact was in 2010 with Kitchener RC member to work with them in SA in the SE area Durhban of SA There were 2 GG projects approved in May 2012: 1. Karanda Mission Hospital Zimbabwe- Dr Paul Thistle Global Grant Water is only able to be supplied between 5:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and many days runs out before the 2:00 shut-off time. 4 of 5 wells -run dry - the shortage to crisis level severe rationing. Began Grant Application in May 2014. Val Wafer s year Funded in July 2015. Michael Bell s year. Now underway. This is a $57,000 US project to upgrade replace the Water system. Laos Water project with Whitby Sunrise- Steve Rutledge - $2,000.00 for $67,000 Grant District Simplified Grant. Tanzania Water project with Toronto Skyline Dr Julie Caron - $2,000.00 for $21,000 Project District Simplified Grant With two Districts.7070 & 6400 Ugandan school water project in Kampala coordinated by Ravi and Kish Modha. Request for $3,000.00 for $12,000 project required by end of 2015. District Simplified Grant.
Club Kenyan projects: Biddi Race $2000 support created $5,500.00 for student support. Coordinated by Simon Kariuki now 5 students and expanding.
