Smart Cities in a Smart Region In Central Region Denmark we are working hard to find new and creative ways to turn societal challenges into tomorrows business. We have launched several initiatives with this strategic scope, and one of our most ambitious is regarding the development of Smart Cities in our Region. The intention is to support public-private partnerships and innovation and to establish a platform for local regional actors to work together on innovative solutions for ICT based city management solutions such as waste management, water supplies, energy, tourism and health care. As a part of the Reverse Mission we would like to organize a workshop with this theme with the intention of displaying our local competencies in co-creation and innovation, and to work together with partners from the DC Network on creating new ideas for ICT based solutions for societal challenges.
