Rural Services In Rural Services, we provide accounting, tax and financial planning advice to individuals and organisations in rural communities. A friendly and professional team, we are looking to accelerate the development and careers of talented young individuals with the potential to become our future leaders. 3-Year Trainee Advisor Programme Join our fast-track programme and you ll study towards fully funded professional qualifications and learn on-the-job through a wide range of training courses. Our programme is as challenging as it is fun and offers a variety of career pathways. You work hard, play hard and get out of our programme what you put in. Ideally with a passion and interest in rural business, you should have the drive to work beyond the 9-5 to meet client needs. You must also be able to identify new opportunities, keep up to date with the farming industry and make a big contribution to our growing success.

NURTURING the best graduate talent Future Financial Planners, Business Advisers & Tax Planners As a Trainee Advisor in Rural Services, you ll learn at pace, work on real-life projects and enjoy plenty of variety, support and responsibility. On our innovative programme you ll: Get up-to-speed with accounts, tax returns and the rural industry as part of our client service team As a financial planner, provide financial advice to our rural clients developing relationships and growing our business Support our marketing activities by writing newsletter articles and attending events and shows Take part in specialist external training courses and group tutorials covering a wide range of technical and industry areas Attend at least two client meetings a month Develop your personal and professional skills with the support of a mentor and sponsor Spend time on advisory work and special projects Gain the skills you need to enjoy a rewarding career as a business adviser or tax or financial planner Be supported by like-minded staff as part of a network within Old Mill
