Statements & Search Criteria Mission Our mission is to promote education by providing school uniforms to needy elementary school students in Collier County who would otherwise come to school inadequately dressed. By giving the children school clothing, we help them arrive at school ready to learn. Background Angels Undercover began in 2010 when Jackie Bennett discovered that a shocking 67% of elementary school children in Collier County are economically needy. In many cases, children were arriving at school without socks or undergarments. Even worse, some children are kept home from school while parents save to buy the required polo shirt and shorts. Starting with one elementary school, Jackie and a group of like-minded friends began buying socks and underwear and delivering them to the school for distribution by the principal and guidance staff. When the group became aware that a lack of required school uniforms was also a stumbling block for many families, those items were added to the shopping list. Angels Undercover has grown. Today we are a 501c3 organization supplying basic school clothing to 22 elementary schools in Collier County as well as three nonprofit agencies. 100% of all outside donations go toward buying clothing as board members cover all administrative costs. We have established working relationships with the staff at the schools we support and with Collier County School Administration. Dr. Kamela Patton, superintendent of public schools recently said, "We are so grateful for the work of the Angels Undercover organization. They recognized that too many students faced the challenges of poverty and started working to fix it. Thanks to this generous organization, our students come to school with increased confidence and prepared to learn. Providing basic needs that support education is a gift that will last forever." In August of 2014, 14,000 uniform shirts and shorts were delivered to 17 schools. CEO/Executive Director Statement With all of our successes, there is still much to be done. Today, the sad news is that the number of needy elementary school children continues to grow. Of the 30 elementary schools in Collier County, 21 now have over half of their student body qualifying for free and reduced lunch. Because the need is so great, we reached out to Chico's FAS to help us manufacture uniform shirts and shorts at a very low cost. They readily agreed and the 2015-16 school year is the third year we have partnered with Chico's. This school year we provided 18,000 uniform shirts and shorts to 22 of the neediest schools in Collier County. In addition to our 11 member Board of Directors, we also have an 11 member Advisory Council of community leaders. Programs Programs Angels Undercover Providing School Uniforms Description Long-Term Success Examples of Long-Term Success Target Population 1 Target Population 2 Provide uniform shirts, shorts and hoodies to needy elementary students in Collier County. Children will be better prepared to learn when they come to school properly dressed in clean, well fitting clothes. Since education is their way out of the poverty state they live in, we project and hope for a more successful life for them in their futures. Principal Angela Lettiere of Sabal Palm Elementary writes "with your gift, you bring light into the eyes, heart and brighten the faces of our receiving children. For many, it may be the only new outfit they've received. The fact that this gift evens the school playing field brings pride and confidence that is observed in their work, interactions with peers, their academic risktaking and overall their approach to their life as a student. In an area so deeply hurt by the recession, looking like your peers is very important to our children. You see, here-school-when you look the same, you escape that which you've lost at home. You escape going home to an empty house due to Mom's needing to work one and sometimes two jobs to help stabilize the family. You escape the uncertainty of worrying of the day to day concern of money that no child should ever need to worry about. Your gift helps some of our children be normal." At-Risk Populations Children Only (5-14 years) 3

Impact Goals What are your organization's long-term strategic goals? Our mission is simply to provide each needy elementary student with the required uniform. We are working to have a presence in all 30 schools. Currently we provide enough uniforms at each of 22 schools to clothe 40% of their needy population. Strategies What are the major strategies you will do to accomplish your goals? We will accomplish our goals by: 1. Continuing to raise funds through our yearly campaign, grants and our annual Sip & Putt Event. 2. Continuing our partnership with Chico's FAS who facilitates the production of our private labeled uniforms. 3. Continuing to promote our work in the community. 4. Continuing to partner with other nonprofits. Capabilities What are your organization s capabilities for doing this? Given adequate funding, we have the capability to provide all the necessary uniforms to every student in need. We also have the capability to deliver them directly to the schools for distribution thanks to a partnership with a local trucking company that volunteers their trucks and drivers. Indicators What indicators do you use to measure progress? We will know we are making progress by continuing to provide more uniforms to our 30 schools. Many schools have 100% of their students on free or reduced lunch. Therefore, we need to continue to reach a higher population of these students. Progress What have and haven t you accomplished so far? - In August of 2015, we delivered 18,000 uniform shirts, shorts and hoodies to 22 schools. - In August of 2014, we delivered 14,00 uniform shirts, shorts and hoodies to 17 schools. - In August of 2013, we delivered 10,000 uniform shirts and shorts to 11 schools. 4
