SOCIAL WORKER -- LOCATION BROOKLYN OR QUEENS boroughs of Brooklyn & Queens and has full-time Social Worker vacancies for our Homebase program in Queens and Brooklyn. Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Social Worker renders professional intervention to clients at risk of homelessness and homeless clients through comprehensive support services (assessment, intake, crisis intervention, information and referral, short and long-term comprehensive case management and financial assistance). Master s in Social Work from an accredited social work school required. Experience supervising interns is a plus. Excellent oral & written communication skills. Good organizational skills. Bilingual Spanish/English speaking preferred. of program operation.

Supervisor II LOCATION BROOKLYN OR QUEENS boroughs of Brooklyn & Queens. Vacancies are available in both our Brooklyn and Queens locations. Under the supervision of the Assistant Director, the Supervisor II will assist Administration in coordinating services to participants including case management and group work; supervision of staff, interns and volunteers; monitoring all administrative and data collection activities of staff; comply with contractual obligations and funding source requirements including statistical reports and data collection; collaborate with internal and external networks in community building relationships and activities in support of the program and agency mission. MSW preferred or Master Degree in related field required. Supervisor I LOCATION BROOKLYN OR QUEENS boroughs of Brooklyn & Queens. Vacancies are available in both our Brooklyn and Queens locations. Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Case Manager III renders professional intervention to clients at risk of homelessness and homeless clients through comprehensive support services (assessment, intake, crisis intervention, information and referral, short and long-term comprehensive case management and financial assistance). MS/MA degree in social service related field required. Experience providing direct services to at-risk populations or individuals/families previously in shelter preferred. QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST LOCATION BROOKLYN boroughs of Brooklyn & Queens. The Quality Assurance Specialist will provide consistent program monitoring to ensure compliance with the Department of Homeless Services Homebase contract obligations including statistical reports and data collection. Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the QA Specialist will facilitate effective delivery of services in homeless prevention by communicating with the all levels of staff and relevant organizations as determined by the Director of Operations. Master s Degree in Social Work or related field Or BA Degree with 5 years experience including a minimum of 2 years administrative experience in a social service setting that caters to the needs of low- income families. Specialization in family services and relevant broad experiential knowledge of program supervision, planning, operations, and evaluation. Expertise in computer applications. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and ability to engage in active listening). Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Ability to synthesize information and transfer it to practice. Excellent organization skills. Creative problem solver. Excellent computer skills and in computer applications. Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Intake Coordinator helps the program meet its enrollment target and assists in pre-screening, intakes, reviewing case files and assigning cases. MS/MA degree or BS/BA with equivalent experience (2 years). Experience in social service setting and providing direct services to homeless individuals/families, or at-risk populations who are defined as vulnerable adults, families and youth, including but not limited to, those with a history of or involvement with child welfare, addiction, physical or emotional issues, unemployed/under-employed desired. Ability to be flexible and use discretion. Ability to function as part of a team. Excellent oral & written communication skills and ability to engage in active listening. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Ability to synthesize information and transfer it to practice. Excellent organization skills. Ability to exercise initiative and follow through. ASSISTANT DIRECTOR -- LOCATION QUEENS boroughs of Brooklyn & Queens. The Assistant Director for the Homebase Homelessness Prevention Program oversees the direct services component of the program and assists the Director in carrying out administrative and supervisory tasks. Under the supervision of the Director, the Assistant Director will coordinate services to clients, supervise staff, interns and volunteers; help monitor administrative and data collection activities; provide quality assurance and ensure that client enrollment and all levels of services are met. MSW or Master Degree in related field. LMSW or LCSW preferred, but not required. Five year s work experience in a social service setting (minimum two years post-ma). Two year s supervisory experience. Experience working with high risk families and/or families at risk of homelessness is preferred. Ability to be flexible and use discretion. Ability to function as part of a team. Excellent oral & written communication skills. Ability to use ACCESS database and NYC DHS CARES database a plus. Ability to engage in public speaking. Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Case Manager I renders professional intervention to clients at risk of homelessness and homeless clients through comprehensive support services (assessment, intake, crisis intervention, information and referral, short and long-term comprehensive case management and financial assistance). AA degree in social services or related field with two years experience in a social service setting or in providing direct services to individuals or families or Bachelor s degree with no experience required. Ability to read printed & handwritten materials. Bilingual skills (Spanish) a plus. Good organizational skills. Basic Computer skills required.

CASE AIDE -- LOCATION QUEENS boroughs of Brooklyn & Queens and has full-time Case Aide vacancies for our Homebase programs in Queens. Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Case Aide will serve provide screening and referrals to callers and walk in clients. The Case Aide is responsible to insure that all data is input into the program and funding source databases in a timely fashion. High School Diploma/GED and four years of experience in a social service setting or in providing direct services to individuals or families. Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and transactional skills. Ability to participate in team oriented work.
