MEPN Program Clinical Competencies 1. Use sound clinical reasoning to provide safe, high quality nursing care. 2. Provide safe and competent patient care. 3. Engage in intentional, self-directed learning. 7 MEPN Program Completion Master s of Science in Nursing AND Qualification to take NCLEX, apply for CA RN licensure AND Qualification for CA BRN PHN certification IF Program completion Coursework with C grade or better Cumulative portfolio and comprehensive written exam demonstrate satisfactorily meeting Program objectives (see next slides) 8 1.
