KCU Educational Grants Application Fall 2018- Spring 2019 School Year Please Read and Follow all Instructions Carefully Thank you for your interest in obtaining an educational grant. The KCU Educational Grants Foundation is pleased to offer educational grants for post-secondary education. The grant may be Academic, Vocational, Technical, Arts, (or other) at an accredited Public or Private institution. The Foundation looks forward to receiving your application. REQUIREMENTS: You must: 1. Be a member, dependent of a member, or eligible to become a member of Kitsap Credit Union. 2. Be a US Citizen or Documented Resident Alien. 3. Meet admission requirements for the school, college or university you have selected. 4. Have Community Service or other forms of Volunteered Services 5. Academic Applicants Only: Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher. APPLICATION PACKET* The entire application must be typed/double-spaced (preferred), or legibly printed and must include; 1 1. Three letters of recommendation; one must be from applicant s supervisor, coworker, teacher, etc. All letters must be written on letterhead, or include the writer s address, telephone number, email address, current date, and signature. 2. Official academic transcripts from the last semester or the last two quarters if you attended school within the last two years. (academic applicants only) 3.
