We have a New Provost! Our new Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Scott Scarborough, began his new post on September 18, 2012. Two new commuter meal plans are available for 2012 2013. If your student is NOT living on campus (commuting to UT), encourage them to check out a new option for eating on campus. Block 5: Costs $32 in cash and gives five total meal swipes. Students can purchase a Block 5 meal plan card through the PHIL station located in Rocket Hall (main hallway). This meal plan can be purchased at any time. The card is not tied to one person, however, so a lost card can be used by anyone that finds it. After the card has been used it can be turned in (recycled) for a coupon for a free food item. Commuter 35: This plan costs $380, and offers 35 meal swipes, $10 in Rocket Dollars and $125 in Dining Dollars.
