Conditions for participation in an Horizon 2020 action A. Minimum conditions 1.For standard collaborative actions: At least three legal entities independent of each other and each established in a different Member State or an Associated Country 2.For ERC, SME instrument, programme co-fund, coordination and support actions, training and mobility actions: One legal entity established in a Member State or in an Associated Country B. Additional conditions To be set out in the work programme or work plan, e.g. number of participants, type of participants etc.
Workprogramme - Strategic approach Two year WP: Increase impact of the funding, and a more integrated approach decided where resources focused in first 2 years Boosting growth & jobs is the key political goal - Horizon 2020 can make a significant contribution Focus areas identified, each covered by a specific call - Broader topics
Work programme - content Topics - reflects the challenge based approach - sets the context, the problem to be addressed, why intervention is necessary - describes the problem, specifies the focus and the boundaries of the potential action BUT without overly describing specific approaches Expected Impact - describes the key elements of what is expected to be achieved in relation to the specific challenge
