Football Hosting Procedure Sectional Round (7 p.m.) - For all classes, the Sectional round will be hosted by the odd-numbered District in odd-numbered years. Example, in 2007, Districts 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13 and 15 will host games. Quarterfinal Round (7 p.m.) - 1) The host shall be the team that did not host the Sectional round. If a team was scheduled to host a Sectional game, but did not due to a lack of adequate facilities or lack of lighting, it will still be counted as if it had hosted. 2) If both teams or neither team hosted the Sectional round, the host team will be the team on the top of the bracket in odd-numbered years (2007). The odd-numbered districts will host in Class 5 and Class 6. Semifinal Round (1:30 p.m.) - 1) If one team has hosted more games, the host school shall be the team that has hosted fewer games. 2) If both teams have hosted the same number of games, the host shall be the team that did not host a Quarterfinal game. 3) If both teams have hosted the same number of games, and/or both teams or neither team hosted Quarterfinals, the host will be the team on the top bracket. Class 5 & 6 Semifinals start at 7 p.m. if played on Friday. hips - The hips are played at neutral sites. The team on the top bracket shall wear its home uniforms and be the home team on the scoreboard in 2007.
