The TECH in Tech Talk Matt Smiley Matt is responsible for developing new business in the corporate market and working closely with clients from the early design phase through the successful completion of their projects. Prior to joining CCS, Smiley served as an Account Executive at IMMEDIA. He was responsible for the American Express, Arizona Public Service, Phoenix School of Law and Trammel Crow Company accounts. During his time at IMMEDIA he produced $1.3 million in new audio visual design and implementation projects. msmiley@ccsprojects.com Matt is also a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS), a distinction administered by InfoComm, the commercial audio visual industry trade association. He also holds certifications in Tandberg Sales Training and Polycom Video and Audio Conferencing. The TALK in Tech Talk lbaker@ccsprojects.com Lindsey Baker, Certified Technical Trainer Lindsey taught for 5 years at the elementary level in the Glendale Elementary School District and Scottsdale Unified School District, using SMART Technologies in her classroom during that time. In addition to teaching, Lindsey spent her extra time creating and implementing SMART Board trainings throughout her schools and districts to help fellow teachers use the technology effectively in their classrooms and everyday lesson planning. Moving on from teaching, Lindsey was hired by CCS Presentation Systems, a Platinum reseller of SMART Technologies, in 2010 as a Training Specialist/ Educational Consultant. While employed by CCS, Lindsey has been certified in all levels of the Notebook software (10, 11, and now 2014); SMART Response; SMART Technical Training Certified for the SB600, 800, and 8000 Series hardware; and SMART Educational Consultant Certified. The TALK in Tech Talk ddickson@ccsprojects.com Dee Dickson, Certified Technical Trainer With 10 years teaching experience, Dee held various roles within education prior to working with CCS Presentation Systems. She was an educator, technology integration specialist and instructional technology coordinator with a strong emphasis on SMART Board training and implementation. Dee s experience led her to CCS as an Education Consultant/Training Specialist. During the past five years working with a wide range of instructors at CCS Presentation Systems, she has been certified at all levels of SMART Notebook Collaborative Learning Software, SMART Response, SMART Technical trainings for the SB600, 800, and 8000i series hardware. She also is a SMART Certified Education Consultant and still holds her teaching credentials. Along with her team, she continues to provide and develop customized professional development workshops, educational technology and technical support to government agencies and professional organizations. Her passion, focus, and experience has led her to research and practice relevant strategies helping teachers balance the numerous instructional technologies in the classroom to creating a dynamic, engaging student-centered environment.
