History: Many years ago US Staff Sergeant Randy Oler served in Fort Bragg and had a big heart for children. He finally had the idea to run an operation to collect and donate toys for poor families to be presented for Christmas. An US Airborne unit invites foreign Airborne units to bring their jumpmasters and national wings along. US soldiers at Fort Bragg donate unwrapped toys for a jump for a foreign wing set. In December 1998 he organized Operation Toy Drop together with his Airborne unit USACAPOC for the first time. Nowadays Toy Drop Operations are executed by US Airborne units worldwide to collect toys for poor children every year before Christmas. In December 2015 and 2016 IAO ran it s first OTDs in Czech Republic. Jump-masters from CZ, SK, UK, USA, Latvia and Nepal participated and awarded their national wings. Therefore dozens of toys were collected and donated to 2 orphans close to Pribram. Operation Toy Drop 2017: IAO will run Operation Toy Drop 2017 within the term November, 30 th through December, 3 rd 3pm 2017. Accommodation can be organized. Operation Toy Drop 2017 is a charity event! Every jumper is requested to bring an unwrapped toy to be donated to an orphan close to Pribram! INTERNATIONAL AIRBORNE OPERATIONS will do a special donation on top! This year we will offer a shooting with small arms! Details and prices on place! Wing program: Of course Czech Airborne wings will be awarded: During Op Toy Drop 2017 we are very pleased to host jump-masters from Great Britain again!

We are very pleased and honoured to be able to train and jump again with jumpmasters from the US Army! US Navy/ Marine Corps jump-master and wings to be confirmed! Freefall qualified jumpers are most welcome and jump beside the S/L wings also for military freefall wings: US Freefall We are currently working on 2 more nations which is very rare and hasn t awarded their wings during similar operations. Details on request. Requirements for the different levels for the respective wings on request! Note: INTERNATIONAL AIRBORNE OPERATIONS jump for national military wings only. No mickey mouse wings from any clubs or associations available! SITE/JUMP INFORMATION Op Toy Drop 2015 is open to a limited number of novices in parachuting and all experienced military staticline jumpers and freefall qualified personnel in military parachuting. Drop-zone: Number of jumps: Airfield close to Pribram/ Czech Republic - 1 to 3 as requested by the jumper by S/L or freefall - Maximal 3 per jumper Jump-ship: Biplane AN-2 (NATO Code Colt) or LET 410 Briefing: Parachute system: - English language, Czech host unit - Round-canopy static line system (i.e. automatically opening) US MC1-1C (steer-able military-round-canopy system) and Czech OVP-68/76A (steer-able military-round-canopy system) Or your own freefall rig. Rigs for rent are available in limited numbers Altitude: - Round-canopy systems: Approx. 600m - Freefall: 1000 to 4000m

Basic Airborne Course: Dates: November, 30 th 12pm December 3 rd at 3pm 2017 Operation Toy Drop 2017 is open to a limited number of parachute beginners. You will receive excellent training in the parachute system, jump-ship and the drop-zone. Novices will attend a full day of intensive, practical physical training with particular attention to parachuting exit-position, behavior in the air, manipulation of the parachute, emergency procedures and malfunctions and how to execute safe parachute landing falls, rigging the parachute under instruction and control of professional riggers. All beginners will be awarded the Czech Airborne Wings and certification. During the course two of your three jumps may take place with jump-masters from other countries in order to gain other national Airborne Wings. Costs for these wings are additional to the course costs. Important note: Due to weather conditions in winter we can t grant 3 jumps. In case of less than 3 jumps will be executed IAO grants the opportunity to do the missing jumps during an IAO event in Czech Republic in 2018. Requirements for participation as student: Students must present with: 1. A completed medical certificate fit for parachuting (forms available on request.) ** 2. A signed third party liability waiver (which will be sent to you as part of your registration pack) 3. A copy of your health insurance. If you do not present with the completed documentation you cannot jump and you may also forfeit your deposit. Qualified experienced static-line jumper package on MC1-1C/ OVP-68/76A (Q1) or freefall jumpers (Q3): Limited places will be available to qualified experienced static-line and freefall jumpers. Dates: December, 1 st 8am 3 rd at 5pm 2017 Requirements for participation as qualified jumper: Jumpers will be awarded wings appropriate to the respective national jump-master (JM). Additional jumps may be possible but you should be aware that space or time constrictions may restrict or prohibit jumps with JM s that have not been pre-arranged. Requirements for participation as qualified jumper: Experience static-line jumpers must present with: 1. A completed medical certificate fit for parachuting (forms available on request.) ** 2. A signed third party liability waiver (which will be sent to you as part of your registration pack) 3. A copy of your health insurance. 4. An Airborne training certificate or parachute logbook with appropriate entries to evidence:

a. A minimum number of 3 jumps with round-canopy parachute system b. At least 1 jump on a steerable round canopy parachute system during the last 3 years. Freefall jumpers must present in addition with: 1. International valid FF license, i.e > FAI A license, USPA, BPA, DFV or equal 2. An evidenced minimum number of 25 freefall jumps 3. At least 5 evidenced jumps during the last 12 months If you do not present with the completed documentation you cannot jump and you may also forfeit your deposit. ** It is only possible to complete a medical assessment on site if there are 3 x or more participants with this requirement. An assessment cannot be guaranteed and would cost an addition possibly high - fee so please ensure that you have this documentation in advance. Essential equipment list for ALL jumpers: 1. Boots suitable for parachuting. Full ankle support is necessary and no training shoes are permitted for military static line jumps. 2. Uniform: a. Either correct current uniform of the jumpers national armed forces, a green or black jumpsuit or b. Suitable outdoor clothing of a rip-stop type material Tiger-stripe uniform 3. National jump-helmet or black Protec helmet (or similar), helmets can used but can also be loaned by the DZ. Freefall qualified jumpers may wear also suitable helmets or cups. 4. For the ceremony; national headgear of the jumpers branch Logistics: Organization: Number of participants: Minimum 10 Maximum 35 Accommodation: Accommodation with breakfast per person and night in hotel on the DZ: 25,- (There are not always single bedrooms available and you may be required to share with one or more, max 3 persons, meals not included) Accommodation with breakfast in single-room per person and night in hotel on the DZ: 50,- (There are not always single bedrooms available and you may be required to share with one or more, max 3 persons, meals not included) Meals are also available in the on-site restaurant and locally in Pribram should you wish to go offsite in the evenings. Travel: A: If you choose to arrive by your own car directions will be provided after registration.

This cost will be shared by the travellers Cost: Basic Airborne Course including 3 jumps with packed parachutes and Czech Wings award: 380 For experienced jumpers: 3 jump-package with packed parachutes (can be done also with the respective jumpmaster): 250 1 jump by S/L with packed parachute (can be done also with the respective jumpmaster): 90 1 jump with weapon or drop-bag: 120 1 freefall jump the jumper s own gear and with the respective jumpmaster: 35 1 freefall jump the rental gear and with the respective jumpmaster: 50 Wings award: Jumps can be done with the respective jumpmaster! Award of offered Airborne Wings with certificate: on request. Bring an unwrapped toy to be donated to an orphan close to Pribram!
