STePS 2.0 - What: A co-funded project by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health and research institutes, starting from 1.4.2016 to 31.3.2019 Continuation to the STePS (1.0) project (monitoring digitalization of social and health care) https://www.julkari.fi/bitstream/handle/10024/129709/urn_isbn_978-952-302-563-9.pdf?sequence=1 STePS (1.0) data collection was conducted in 2014, before implementation of the ehealth and ewelfare 2020 strategy, prior to the introduction of national Kanta-services, before the social and health care-reform decisions. 2017 data collection forms the next data collection point, reporting focuses on monitoring implementation of the strategy, implementation of national Kanta-services, production of information to support social and health care reform regarding status of horizontal and vertical information exchange / impacts in different regions 13.6.2016 13.6.2016/ Hannele Hyppönen 2

For each subject area, views availability, usage and benefits of different services and functionalities in primary and specialized health care and social care for own region compared to others for decisions on regional development foci. Views use, benefits and needs of e-services for citizens by citizen group in own region for decisions on development foci Looks at Citizen and professional usage and experiences of national eservices, differences by EHRsystem for development of national steering activities.
