Intra-University Transfer and/or Double Degree (IUT/DD) Q&A How do I apply to the Decker School of Nursing if I am already a Binghamton University student in another school? Log into BUBRAIN. The online application is under the home tab at the bottom titled Intra University/Double Degree Application for Admission. It is a very short application, most students do not realize that is all they have to do to apply! When is the application deadline? March 15. What is the minimum GPA for consideration to transfer to Decker? 3.0 When will I be notified about the admission decision? Since I cannot register for my junior level nursing courses until I have been admitted to Decker, and since I will not have an admission decision until June, what courses will I choose for the fall semester? Register for courses toward your alternate degree program. If admitted, you can revise your schedule with nursing courses just prior to classes starting in the fall. You will get a seat in the classes you need if admitted. Baccalaureate Accelerated Track (BAT) Q&A How do I apply to the BAT program? 1. Complete and submit a transfer application online. You may submit the "SUNY" or the "Common" application. 2. As directed with the application instructions, have official transcripts sent to Undergraduate Admissions Binghamton University. 3. Upload the following required materials to complete your BAT application online: a) Resume of work and educational experience b) Prerequisite form When does the BAT program begin and how long does it last? Classes begin in the first summer session (late May) and continue for 12 months. What is the minimum GPA for consideration to transfer to Decker? A cumulative and prerequisite GPA of at least 3.0 is required for consideration. Is the BAT program the only program option for students who have a bachelor s degree in another field? No. Students may choose to apply for the traditional program instead of the accelerated option (two years to complete the nursing courses.)
