CIMBA Full-time MBA Program Available Scholarships Consulting Project Scholarship: $5,000 This scholarship is awarded to all admitted full-time students for completion of the development projects that are part of the one-year MBA program. This scholarship must be repaid if the consulting project is not completed. No application is required for this scholarship. CIMBA Undergraduate Program Alumni Scholarship: $2,000 This scholarship, assigned based on merit, is provided by the consortium and awarded only to students who took part in the undergraduate study abroad program. GMAT/GRE Scholarship: $2,000 This scholarship, assigned based on merit, is awarded by the consortium to full-time students who have a GMAT score (or equivalent GRE score) of at least 650 for citizens of countries where English is the official language or a GMAT (or equivalent GRE score) of at least 600 for citizens of countries where English is not the official language. Class Materials Scholarship This scholarship (for an estimated amount of $2,500) is assigned on a need basis. It is awarded by the consortium and includes all the expenses for the materials needed for class. This scholarship covers: fees for technology and internet access on campus, all the costs for handouts used in class, business cases and simulations, and the rental of textbooks. Italian Descendant Scholarship: up to $5,000 This scholarship, provided by a group of entrepreneurs with Italian origins, is assigned on a need basis to participants of Italian descent. To be eligible for this scholarship, the student must provide documentation confirming Italian ancestry. Veneto Origins Scholarship: $10,000 This scholarship, provided by a group of entrepreneurs with Veneto origins, is assigned on a need basis to participants of Italian and Veneto descent. To be eligible for this scholarship, the student must provide documentation confirming his/her Veneto origins. The Veneto Origins Scholarship cannot be combined with the Italian Descendant Scholarship. Stefano Andreello Memorial Scholarship: up to $8,000 Stefano Andreello was a CIMBA alumnus (MBA Class of 93) and after graduation he went on to a career as an international consultant. After a highly distinguished career at Accenture managing large consulting projects for clients such as BMW and Pfizer, he decided to return to CIMBA as Co-director for CIMBA Business Advisement and professor in the CIMBA undergraduate program. In 2006, at the age of 41, he tragically passed away from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Stefano was an inspiring and dedicated individual with a true passion for learning and a tireless work ethic. He fully embraced the CIMBA basic beliefs. He had a genuine drive and passion to help bring out the true leader in every student and to see the program and its students reach new heights. With that spirit and at his family s request,
CIMBA has established a memorial scholarship in his name for MBA students who possess his spirit and enthusiasm for learning and inspiring others. Cultural Diversity Scholarship: $10,000 This scholarship, based on merit and need, has been developed to encourage applicants from a wide-range of international backgrounds to benefit from our MBA and to promote cultural diversity in the classroom. The scholarship is reserved for citizens from the countries of South America, the Middle East, South Asia, and Africa. Candidates for this scholarship must prove intellectual excellence, show personal and professional achievements, and demonstrate strong leadership potential.
