Gonzalez won three events and set three school records at the Georgia Invitational. He won the 200 IM in 1:42.02, an NCAA A cut time that is currently the third-fastest in the country. Gonzalez also won the 400 IM in 3:39.28, another NCAA A cut and the top time in the nation. He won the 200 back in 1:39.05, an NCAA A cut that is currently the second-fastest in the country. Jay Litherland Georgia Senior Alpharetta, Ga. Litherland recorded NCAA provisional qualifying times in five individual events at the UGA Fall Invitational. Litherland came in second in the 400 individual medley in 3:39.96, the second-fastest time in the country this year. He was second in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:16.03, which ranks 11th in the nation this year. Male Diver of the Week Colin Zeng Tennessee Junior Fujian, China Zeng swept all three diving events as his squad won the Tennessee Invitational. He scored a season-best 422.55 in the 1-meter, and posted a final score of 308.40 in the 3-meter. Zeng s platform score of 460.20 was a school record, breaking the oldest UT men s diving record (Gabi Chereches, 2001, 458.95). Male Freshman of the Week Camden Murphy Georgia Novi, Mich. Murphy was Georgia s top freshman during a third-place team effort in the UGA Fall Invitational at Gabrielsen Natatorium. He placed third in the 200 butterfly in 1:41.74, which ranks fourth all-time in the UGA record book and eighth nationally this year. Murphy came in fourth in the 100 butterfly in 46.07, a time stands fourth all-time in the UGA record book. He also came in 13th in the 100 freestyle in 43.88. Murphy posted NCAA provisional qualifying times in three individual events. He placed fifth on the 200 freestyle relay (1:19.03), fifth on the 800 freestyle relay (6:28.40) and seventh on the 400 freestyle relay (2:55.15). Brown set school records in three individual events as the Lady Vols took the top spot at the Tennessee Invitational. She won the 100 fly with a time of 50.33, the fastest time in the nation. Brown placed second in the 50 free with a time of 21.50, the third best time in the nation. She also took second in the 100 free with a time of 47.54, the fifth best time in the nation. Brown recorded NCAA A-cut times in the 50 free and 100 fly, and posted NCAA B-cut in the 100 free, 200 free, 100 back and 200 free. Female Diver of the Week Rachel Rubadue Tennessee Junior Columbus, Ohio Rubadue won all three diving competitions to help the Lady Vols earn a first-place finish at the Tennessee Invitational. She took the top spot in the 1-meter with a final score of 276.50. Rubadue scored a season-best 322.80 on the 3-meter, and posted her first win this season on the platform with a score of 280.15. Female Freshman of the Week Courtney Harnish Georgia York, Pa. Harnish was Georgia s top freshman during a second-place team effort in the UGA Fall Invitational at Gabrielsen Natatorium. She placed second in the 500 freestyle in 4:35.69, which ranks fourth in the nation this season and sixth in the UGA record book. Harnish came in second in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:44.47 (12th nationally) and 12th in the 200 backstroke in 1:56.71, both B cuts. She took 12th in the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:59.47. Harnish came in third on the 800 freestyle relay (7:00.93), fourth on the 400 freestyle relay (3:15.05) and eighth on the 400 medley (3:39.05).

SEC Athletes of the Week Each week, the Southeastern Conference will announce six Athlete of the Week honors for the sport of swimming & diving. The conference will honor a Swimmer, Diver and Freshman of the Week for both men and women. Athletes of the Week are announced each Tuesday from the SEC Office. Credentials The 2018 SEC Swimming & Diving Championships will be held February 14-18 in College Station, Texas. Alabama: The Alabama swimming and diving teams are heading into the week of Thanksgiving following a very strong showing at the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta, Ga. The Crimson Tide won nine individual races and seven relays over the three-day event. Junior Robert Howard led the men s team, tallying individual wins in the 50 (19.11), 100 (41.99) and 200 (1:33.75) freestyle events and swimming legs on all five winning relays. His performance ranks him first in the nation in the 100 freestyle, third in the 50 freestyle and fifth in the 200 freestyle. His times in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyles, all career-best marks, in the 100 freestyle ranks him second all-time at Alabama in all three events. On the women s side of the slate, freshman Leonie Kullmann enjoyed a breakthrough weekend, setting school records on the way to winning the 500 freestyle (4:41.95) and taking second in the 200 freestyle (1:45.88). She is the top-ranked freshman in the nation in both events. Arkansas: Behind numerous personal bests, the Arkansas swimming and diving team placed fourth at the prestigious Art Adamson Invitational, scoring 281 points. On Thursday on the 3-meter springboard, Brooke Schultz and Nicole Gillis took first and second, respectively, as Schultz broke her own school record with a lifetime-best 370.95. Schultz outscored the field by 47.2 points as Gillis finished with a 323.75. On Friday, Schultz won the 1-meter finals with a score of 328.15. Schultz outscored the field by 29.85, as Gillis finished second in the finals with a score of 298.30. Auburn: Auburn s Hugo Gonzalez stole the show at last weekend s Georgia Invitational, establishing three school records (200 IM, 400 IM, 200 back), picking up three NCAA A cuts in the process His 400 IM time (3:39.28) is currently fastest in the nation, his 200 back time (1:39.05) is second fastest in the nation and his 200 IM time (1:42.02) is third-fastest in the nation He also anchored Auburn s 400 Free Relay to a NCAA Automatic Qualifying time In total Auburn posted 42 lifetime best swims over the weekend and earned 29 individual NCAA B cuts as well as three NCAA B cuts on relays Auburn also saw Pete Turnham (1-meter) and Scott Lazeroff (platform) earn wins on the weekend as Auburn came in fourth at the invitational which also included No. 1 Cal, #8 Georgia, No. 12 Michigan and No. 22 Virginia Auburn also sent a pair of female divers to the invitational and Alison Maillard earned a win on the 3-meter Auburn s swimmers will next compete in January when it travels to Texas while the divers will host the Auburn Diving Invitational, Dec. 17-19. Team Notes also a member of the two first place finishes in the relays as well. Caeleb Dressel recorded two A-cut times swimming an 18.66 50 free split, as well as a 1:40.61 in the 200 IM. That time currently stands as the fastest in the nation and is.06 seconds faster than what it took to win the National Championship in that event last year. Two relays also earned A-cuts over the three days with the 200 free relay (Dressel, Switkowski, Mark Szaranek, Enzo Martinez- Scarpe) posting a time of 1:16.67. The men s 400 free relay of Switkowski, Maxime Rooney, M. Szaranek and Khader Baqlah posted an A-cut time of 2:51.53. The men together recorded four A-cuts and 95 B-cuts over the three days. They also combined for 100 spots in finals, with 41 of those spots being in A finals. The Gator women came in second at the Purdue Invitational, beating out two other ranked teams. Sydney Sell recorded a win for the Gators in the 200 back, posting a time of 1:53.43 for a B-cut. The women combined for 67 spots in finals throughout the three day meet, with 20 of those spots being in A finals. The UF women garnered 44 B-cuts during the meet. The Gators recorded nine top-3 finishes, including Kelly Fertel and Savanna Faulconer going 2-3 in the 400 IM. Georgia: The Georgia women s swimming and diving team placed second and the Bulldogs finished third as the UGA Fall Invitational came to a conclusion on Dec. 3 at Gabrielsen Natatorium. The Lady Bulldogs wound up with 833.5 points to take second. Michigan won with 991.5 points and California was third with 830. On the men s side, California (1,014) took first, Michigan (915) was second and Georgia (674) was third. Georgia s teams will be idle until the Tennessee Diving Invitational Jan. 3-5 and a dual meet against LSU at Gabrielsen Natatorium on Jan. 13. Kentucky: The No. 17 Kentucky women s swimming and diving showed its depth and versatility this weekend, defeating three ranked teams to win the Ohio State Invitational for the first time in program history. UK topped three ranked teams No. 12 NC State, No. 23 Ohio State and No. 18 Notre Dame, defeating eight teams in total. The Kentucky men s team finished fourth overall with 400.5 points. NC State took home the men s team victory with 1,118.5 points. While the full team won t be back in action until 2018, select Kentucky student-athletes will head back to Columbus, Nov. 29-30, for the USA Swimming Winter Nationals. Additionally, the Kentucky divers will travel to Oxford, Ohio, for the Miami Diving Invitational Nov. 30-Dec. 1. Florida: The Gator men won the Purdue Invitational this past LSU: At Art Adamson Invitational, the LSU men finished third out of weekend, beating a field of eight men s teams that included No. 1 eight teams with a score of 569.50 points, and the women finished Indiana. The Gators scored 1,009 points over the three day meet, seventh out of 10 teams, earning a total score of 224 points. Juan beating second place IU by 162 points. Missouri: The Mizzou men s swimming and diving team set four school records en route to the 2017 Mizzou Invite team title over the weekend. The Tigers earned 1,411 points to easily beat the competition. Three different Tigers took down the four records, with junior Jacob Wielinski setting the 1000 free (9:03.43) and 1650 free (14:59.10) marks, junior Mikel Schreuders taking down the 200 free (1:33.24) record and junior Alex Walton besting the 400 IM (1:44.08) mark. Following the meet, 13 different Tigers rank in the top 25 in their respective events, including 10 who rank in the top 10. Schreuders ranks second nationally in the 200 free, ninth in the 100 free and 10th in the 50 free, sophomore Micah Slaton ranks third in the 100 fly and seventh in the 200 fly, Walton is third in the 400 IM and seventh in the 200 IM, sophomore Caleb Hicks is sixth in the 100 breast, junior Luke Mankus is seventh in the 50 free, freshman Carter Grimes is eighth in the 400 IM, sophomore Nick Alexander is ninth in the 200 back, senior Jordy Groters is 10th in the 100 breast, sophomore Giovanny Lima is 10th in the 200 free and Wielinski is 10th in the 1650 free. The Mizzou women s swimming and diving team set six school marks as the squad claimed the 2017 Mizzou Invite team title with 1,391.5 points. Senior Sharli Brady led the way with three school records of her own, as she broke the 200 fly (1:54.56), 200 IM (1:55.55) and 400 IM (4:04.37) marks. Additionally, senior Kira Zubar set the 500 free (4:38.80) record, junior Annie Ochitwa bested the 100 free (47.58) mark and the 400 free relay team (3:15.53) also set a new record. After the meet, nine different Tigers rank in the top 25 nationally in their events, while four are in the top 10. Brady ranks third in the 200 fly, fifth in the 400 IM and seventh in the 200 IM, senior Hannah Stevens is third in the 100 back and eighth in the 200 back, Ochitwa is fifth in the 100 free and 10th in the 100 fly and Zubar is 10th in the 1650 free. South Carolina: At the Georgia Tech Invitational, the Gamecock men finished fourth, and the women took fifth after the two teams combined for eight individual event wins. Tomas Peribonio and Emma Barksdale got the team off to a strong start as both swept the 200 and 400 IM events. Fynn Minuth also recorded two wins for the Gamecocks in the 500 freestyle and 200 butterfly. Nils Wich-Glasen was the fourth South Carolina individual winner with a first-place finish in the 100 breaststroke. The Gamecocks went 1-2 in the men s 1650 freestyle with senior Akram Mahmoud finishing first with a time of 14:57.88 and Cody Bekemeyer following in second with a time of 15:03.82. The women s diving team competed in the last day of the Ohio State Invitational Saturday as well, with all four Gamecocks making the 1-meter finals. Julia Vincent took first in the event, scoring a 293.45. Karlee Price brought in the next-best score for the Gamecocks with a 277.20 to finish in sixth. Yu Qian Goh and Mikaela Lujan followed right behind in seventh Team Notes and eighth places, respectively. South Carolina s next competition will be the USA Swimming Short Course Nationals in Columbus, Ohio, November 29 to December 2. Tennessee: Tennessee set two new program records, as the team won 10 out of 14 events to finish the Tennessee Invitational with a convincing victory on Dec. 2 at Allan Jones Aquatic Center. Sophomore Erika Brown put a ribbon on an impressive showing by setting her third program record in as many days. She swam a 47.54 in the 100-yard free, replacing Lindsay Gendron s 2014 record of 47.66. On Nov. 30, Brown set a program-record in the 50 free, and on Dec. 1, her 100 butterfly set both a UT record and the fastest time in the NCAA this year. Junior Colin Zeng put together a three-day sweep of men s diving in record-setting fashion. He won his first platform competition for Tennessee in 460.20, breaking all-time great Gabi Chereches 2001 mark by a point. Current Vols hold all three diving records; senior Liam Stone owns the records on 1-meter and 3-meter. Tennessee won in dominating fashion, as it took the six-team men s competition with 1,288.5 points and the seven-team women s competition with 1,075 points. Second place went to Denver in the men s competition and Duke in the women s, scoring 740 and 827 points respectively. Texas A&M: The Texas A&M men s swimming and diving team broke two school records and won five races Saturday to win the Art Adamson Invitational at the Student Recreation Natatorium. The Aggies won the meet with a score of 1338, followed by Utah (898), LSU (569.5), Air Force (423) and Hawaii (417). Texas A&M tallied victories in the 1650-yard freestyle, 200-yard backstroke, 200-yard breaststroke, 200-yard butterfly and 400-yard freestyle relay. Senior Brock Bonetti broke his school record in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:40.56. Bonetti held the previous mark of 1:41.77, set at last year s SEC Championships in Knoxville, Tenn. Angel Martinez shattered his own school record in the 200-yard butterfly, touching the wall in 1:42.08. Martinez bettered his previous mark of 1:43.25. The Aggies host Incarnate Word for a dualmeet on Dec. 16 at the Student Recreation Center. The No. 3 Texas A&M women s swimming and diving team closed out the 2017 portion of the 2017-18 season with a 161-92 win over Rice on Dec. 2 at the Rice Aquatics Center. Texas A&M swept all 14 races while improving 4-1 in dual meet action. Texas A&M swept the relays with the foursome of senior Laura Norman, freshman Anna Belousova, freshman Jing Quah and sophomore Raena Eldridge winning the 100 medley relay in 47.36 and the group of sophomore Golf Sapianchai, junior McKenna DeBever, sophomore Sara Metzsch and junior Sydney Pickrem taking the 500 free crescendo relay in 4:30.44. Winning multiple individual races were freshman Taylor Pike and senior Bryl Gastaldello. Pike swept the 100-yard butterfly (55.75) and the 200 fly (2:00.16, while Gastaldello won the 100 backstroke (54.54) and the 100 5

Vanderbilt: The Vanderbilt swim team finished the Phill Hansel invitational in sixth place, scoring 603 points during the three-day invitational in Houston, Texas. Vanderbilt returns home for their next home meet on Wednesday, Nov. 29 against Marshall at the Centennial Sportsplex.
