GLOBAL GRANT QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS THE ROTARY FOUNDATION (Annually) 1. Must Attended a Grant Management Seminar (Workshop in the Spring) 2. Must Sign & Adhere to Club Memorandum of Understanding and 7610 Addendum. (2 documents signed in the Spring) 3. Tips for a Successful Grant provided by West Springfield Rotary Club 1. Connect with the District 7610 Staff - Global Grants Chair (Andrew Wade) and the District Governor (Janet Brown) -- ensure there is District funding (DDF) available for your project. 2. Rotary International staff are also very helpful. 3. Get a firm commitment from partner clubs - a signed MOU on their contribution and what you will do with them. 4. Clubs from other Districts can be helpful but you will need to have their District approve your grant application too before RI will begin the review process. 5. Avoid July if you can. Key leaders change with the new Rotary year and this creates delay. 6.
