The RAA WO/SNCO farewells are an enduring tradition within the Regiment. It provides an opportunity for 'Gunners' to gather, socialise and appropriately farewell members of the Regiment who through their service made a significant contribution to not only the RAA, but to the Army and nation. 32. The RAA WO/SNCO farewells is traditionally the medium in which to farewell those members who have provided many loyal years of service to the RAA. It is a fitting environment in which to honour these individuals and keep the farewells as the penultimate event on the RAA social calendar. To do this, maximum participation from all RAA members would contribute to another great occasion at the RAA Regimental Sergeants Mess.
