American Legion Scholarship Awards: Two $1,000 scholarships 1. Must be a graduating senior 2. Must be majoring in medicine or health related field including programs which enable the scholarship recipient to become a nurse or paramedic, law enforcement occupation, fire fighting and/or prevention occupations 2. Must have demonstrated academic achievement and maintained a 3.0 GPA or better during the junior and senior years Ripon Lion s Club Scholarship Award: One $500 scholarship award 1. Must be a graduating senior of Ripon Christian 2. Must attend a four-year college 3. Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher Donker Memorial Scholarship Awards: One $500 scholarship ($250 each semester) 1. Applicants must major in a health related field leading to nursing or paramedic 2. Must have maintained a 3.0 or better GPA during junior and senior year 3. Must attend CRC college (Dordt, Trinity, Calvin, Redeemer, Kings) or MJC RN nursing or paramedic program Ripon Rotary Scholarship Awards: Two $500 scholarships 1. Ripon Quarterback Club Awards: One $500 scholarship (one girl and one boy) 1. State school activities and outside of school activities in community and church 2. Must be a student interest in pursuing a college education 2. Must attend Dordt College 3. Must be a senior graduating from Ripon Christian 4. Must have a 2.5 GPA or higher 5. Must demonstrate financial need Ripon Grange Scholarship Award: One $250 Award 1. a. Graduating seniors of Ripon Christian High School are eligible. b. Acceptance by an accredited college or university within two years from the fall term following graduation from high school. c. The applicant much have a 2.5 grade point average or better. d. Essay required Ripon Christian Boosters Memorial Scholarship Award: Two $500 Scholarships (one male one female) 1. You must have demonstrated academic achievement and maintained an overall high school gpa of 2.5 or higher. 2. You must have lettered in a Varsity sport 3. You must show proof of acceptance by a 4-year accredited college 4. Personal interview and letters of recommendation required. Oak Valley Medical Foundation Scholarship Award: One $500 Scholarship 1. You must be entering a Medical/Healthcare Profession 2. You must live within the Oak Valley Hospital District of Oakdale, Escalon, Riverbank, Knights Ferry, Valley Home, or Waterford 3. Transcript, scholarship form, essay, and two letters of recommendation are required

Glenda Beidleman Memorial Scholarship Award: One $1,000 scholarship 1. Must be a student interested in pursuing a college education 2. Must major in field of nursing 3. Must be a senior graduating from Ripon Christian 4. Must have a 2.5 GPA or higher 5. Must demonstrate financial need Omicron Beta Scholarship Awards: One $500 scholarship 1. Only applies to females residing in the Ripon Unified District 2. Must attend an accredited college/university The following scholarships do not have application attachments. Please see Miss Schuller for application forms. Cabrillo Civic Clubs of California, Inc. Award: $500 Scholarship Award 1. Must be of Portuguese descent 2. Must have a 3.5 GPA or higher 3. Must participate in at least three extra-curricular activities while in high school 4. Letters (3) of recommendation required Italian-Catholic Federation Awards: unlisted awards at $400 each 1. You must have catholic parent or grandparent as member of the federation. 2. You must have Italian descent 3. You must have at least a 3.2 GPA

Women for Agriculture Awards: Community College Applicants up to $250 State College or University Applicants up to $1,000 1. You must attend college in California 2. You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA Requirements: 1. Scholarship form filled out in completion 2. Short essay 3. 2 letters of recommendation Ripon Livestock Boosters Scholarship (arrives late April) Award: Two $1,000 Scholarship 1. You must plan to attend a junior college, trade school, or 4-year college/university next fall. 2. Membership in FFA or 4-H is not a requirement 3. Application and essay are required Salida Fire Department Women s Auxiliary Scholarship Awards: One $350 scholarship 1. Applicant must reside within the Salida Fire Protection District (Map available in counseling office) 2. Award based 70% grades (minimum 3.0 GPA) 10% community service 10% extra-curricular activities and 10% relation to Fire Department 3. Application and completion of activity record 4. Application also available at: http://www.salidafire.com/aux/index/html Kenneth J. Van Spronsen Memorial Scholarship(for First Year RC Grads going to Calvin) Award: One $3,000 Scholarship 1. You must be a prospective first-year student planning to enroll full-time at Calvin College the upcoming school year. 2. You must have high school GPA of 3.0 or higher 3. You must be a graduate of Ripon Christian High School 4. You must demonstrate Christian character and leadership in church and school activities other than athletics 5. Financial need as defined by government programs is not required, but there should be some evidence that the scholarship is needed to help meet educational expenses. Note: a. Students are automatically considered based on admissions application to Calvin (Calvin or Common Application accepted) b. Renewal: Scholarship recipients are eligible to apply for the Kenneth J. Van Spronsen Memorial Upper Class Scholarship for Ripon Christian Graduates for the sophomore, junior and senior year.

Official High School Transcript 1. Agriculture Employee Scholarship Awards: Five $1,000 scholarships 1. You must attend a four-year college in California 2. Your parent or the applicant must work in production agriculture or a related agricultural field in San Joaquin County 3. Awards are based on career goals, scholastic achievement, leadership, determination, and financial need. 2. San Joaquin Farm Bureau Scholarship Awards : Five $1,000 scholarships 1. You must attend a four-year college in California and major in some area of agriculture. 2. Your parent must be a current member of the San Joaquin Farm Bureau Federation. 3. Awards are based on career goals, scholastic achievement, leadershp, determination, and entrance exam scores. 3. Robert J. Cabral Memorial Agriciultural Scholarship Awards: Five $1,000 scholarships 1. You must attend a four-year college in California and major in some area of agriculture. 2. Award based on career goals, demonstrated leadership abilities, and the commitment to succeed 4. Robert J. Cabral Junior College Scholarship Awards: One $1,000 scholarship 1. You must attend MJC or Delta College and major in some area of agriculture. 2. Award is based on career goals, demonstrated leadership abilities, and the commitment to succeed

Award is based on career goals, demonstrated leadership abilities, and the commitment to succeed. Women for Agriculture Awards: Community College Applicants up to $250 State College or University Applicants up to $1,000 3. You must attend college in California 4. Pursue a degree in an Agricultural related field 3. Be accepted into an accredited college/university or vocational trade school(f2004) 4. Minimum 3.0 GPA ***Application needed(miss Schuller or web www.oakdaleirrigation.com look under Notices/New Information) Mae Facto Award(youth citizenship funded by Soroptimist International of Ripon) Awards: Two $500 scholarships 1. Must graduate in the current school year 2. Must live within the territorial limits of Sorptimist International 3. Must demonstrate high levels of citizenship(service,dependability,leadership) 4. May only apply for one award from one Soroptimist club 5. Letters of reference needed (3 not from school personnel)

Ripon Garden Club Scholarship Awards: four $500 scholarships (for Ripon Schools) 1. Career plans should be related to the objectives of California Garden Club, Inc. e.g. botany, conservation, entomology, floriculture, forestry, horticulture, landscape architecture, plant biology and/or plant genetics, urban planning, agriculture or research in allied fields (some related fields will be considered. See Miss Schuller.) 2. Must have transcript, 2 letters of recommendation, statement of family financial status and picture(with name on back) CAA/ESA Youth Scholarship Awards: One first place $7,500, One second place $2,500 1. You must have a parent or legal guardian who is a full-time Active duty employee (not on disability) who is a member of a Law enforcement agency or a full-time volunteer member of a Fire department located in California 2. You must submit proof of enrollment in high school (official transcript and show proof of acceptance to a college or university 3. You must submit proof of parent s occupation 4. Typed essay required 5. Letter of recommendation required 6. Completed application must be sent to appropriate office 7. Students attending a JC and plan to attend a 4-year institution are also eligible. 2. You must be from an almond producing area of California and plan to major in agriculture. 3. You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA 4. Official transcript required 5. Two recommendations needed from non-relatives. One must be from outside the teaching profession 6. Essay required 7. Application must be sent by applicant Heidi Brunk Music Scholarship Awards: TBD by scholarship committee 1. You must be a graduating senior 2. You must have actively participated in music while in high school 3. You must plan on continuing music participation while in college 4. Letters of recommendation from an acquaintance and from a music teacher 5. Application form and personal statement must also be included 6. Completed applications must be sent to the appropriate address by applicant Central Valley Association of Realtors (CVAR) scholarship Awards: Multiple awards of $50-$250 1. Must attend Ripon Christian High School 2. Must be a senior 3. Letter of Recommendation required 4. Official Transcript required 5. Essay required 6. Interview required for finalists 7. California Association of Collectors, Inc. (CAC) Awards: 3 awards available ($2,500, $2,000, $1,500) 1. You must complete application 2. You must submit a one page essay on The Importance of Establishing and Maintaing Good Financial Credit During Your College Years. The following scholarships have downloadable forms or contact numbers for information Doctor s Medical Center Foundation Scholarships Is currently offering scholarships for students entering nursing and other health-related fields. Only one application needs to be completed in order to be considered for the scholarships currently being offered. Apply on-line at www.dmcf.org or pick up an application in the counseling office from Miss Schuller. Christian Public Servants Scholarship Award: several $500 scholarship awards 1. Must be a graduate from high school 2. Must be entering a field preparing for a career in public service 3. Award based on academic achievement, participation in church and/or Christian ministries plus community service. 4. Must live in Stanislaus County 5. Must attend CSU Stanislaus or MJC 6.
