Design/Build is a concept that combines the many aspects of developing a home under one roof. At Rick Shipley Luxury Homes we strive to continue our growing reach and influence in the residential marketplace. Apart from the convenience for everyone involved, Design/Build creates a forum for communication among the experts on design, construction, and cost. At Rick Shipley Luxury Homes we call this The Triangle. Architect t Builder Client Without The Triangle concept in place, the project s opportunity for failure greatly increases. The knowledge of cost as a design tool is critical to a successful project. Time and again, projects either have to be redesigned or do not get built because the cost exceeds the budget after months spent in the design process. With design/build, the architect/builder team will work together throughout the design to maintain cost controls. The architect can tailor the design to budget; the builder can provide a better targeted and more precise construction cost. Clients become empowered to direct their investment where it most benefits their priorities and lifestyle.

One Point of Accountability If there is one consistent comment we hear from our hundreds of happy homeowners, it is that they never feel like they are in the construction business during the build cycle of their home. Rick Shipley Luxury Homes coordinates the home curb to alley, orchestrating all of our resources including architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects, audio/video specialists, pool builders and numerous others to ensure our homeowners that there is one point of accountability. Builder involvement from conception is key. Our professional consultation begins with homesite aquisition.

Although we have multiple architectural resources, we are uniquely positioned to work with your architect if needed. In select cases we would entertain an interview discussion session relative to plans from an outside source.
