2010 Annual Report to Members MCA The Professional Association For ALL Marines Study Write Join the Dialogue! T he Marine Corps Association Board of Governors, the Board of Directors of the Marine Corps Association Foundation, and the MCA management team are pleased to present the 2010 Annual Report to the membership. The financial health of the MCA continues to grow following a successful year in 2009. Our improved merchandizing strategy and focused effort on improving our inventory control and management methods is paying off in reduced costs, improved inventory performance, and increased revenue which has been applied to the expansion of our professional development programs. In May we released our redesigned websites. This comprehensive effort produced a new look and a new content management system that allows web visitors easier movement within our sites as well as access to expanded content. The result has been a marked increase in the number and duration of website visits and in e-commerce volume. Revamping our Facebook page WWW.MCA-MARINES.ORG that had roughly 100 friends in June, we now have over 20,000 active Facebook friends. These efforts have increased awareness of the MCA s mission, generated new memberships, and increased revenue vital to expanding programs that support our great Marines. Thank you for your membership. Your leadership and influence is key to the growth of this important organization that is committed to the development and recognition of Marine excellence.
