Section 2: Justification for New Course Rationale This course is part of the redevelopment of the Bachelor of Nursing program. The course provides an opportunity for students to have a structured outward bound learning experience in which outcomes are credited to their current studies. Program Committee and Program Reference Committee Consultation Meeting Evidence of Consultation Outcome(s) of Consultation Intra University Consultation All Deans and DDLTs were invited to attend a meeting to discuss the impending redevelopment of the Bachelor Nursing. All parties in attendance supported the redevelopment of the Bachelor of Nursing Program. School of Nursing and Midwifery Bachelor of Nursing Staff Workshop. Changes to this course were recommended at this workshop held in October 2014. Curriculum Consultation Workshops. A number of regional workshops were held from 15-24 September 2014 in various locations including Mackay, Rockhampton, Bundaberg, Noosa and Brisbane. Health industry representatives, other universities, students and other stakeholders were consulted regarding changes to the Bachelor of Nursing program and courses. Changes to this course were recommended during these consultation workshops. School of Nursing and Midwifery Program Committee.
