Why Should You Consider Simulators? Individual Marksmanship Units still have soldiers with issues in grouping, zeroing and qualifying with individual weapons Identify soldiers requiring remedial training prior to qualification Afford more training time to improve all skill levels of soldiers Provides self-paced instruction with convenience of indoors

Immersive Training Why Should You Consider Simulators? New emergent threats against standalone facilities Training soldiers to respond to active shooter situations Soldiers are not trained in force protection or use-of-force tactics. Many soldiers are not qualified with M9 Us Navy Recruiting Station, Chattanooga, TN

Why Should You Consider Simulators? Advanced Marksmanship Skills Train beyond the qualification standard Static targets do not always prepare soldiers for real world engagement requirements Simulation can improve reaction times, increased accuracy, and target identification through the use of advanced reflexive fire drills and dynamic skill building exercises. Afford more training time to improve all skill levels of soldiers

Solution Mobile Marksmanship Training Simulator MMTS is a multi-functional firearms simulator designed to address both basic and advanced firearms training requirements for combat, combat support, and combat service support units. Optional add-on modules of mission specific training courseware or specialized weapon systems can elevate standard weapons training to address all individual, collective, and symmetrical threat training requirements.

MMTS Mobile Marksmanship Training Simulator MMTS Features: Portable and Durable Integrated Instructor Station Scalable. Add Additional Lanes Through Networking Multiple MMT Units Together Compatible with Small Arm and Crew Serve Simulated Weapon Systems Plug and Play Setup Individual and Collective Skills Training Use-of-Force Training with Lethal and Less-Lethal Options VBS3 Tactical Weapon Simulator for Tactical Engagement Training Accurate Ballistic API for Realistic Training Compatible with Crosshair Long Range Optics Training Systems Optional Mission Specific Courseware Modules for Mounted or Unstabilized Gunnery Training, or CQB Requirements

MMTS Preliminary Marksmanship Instruction (PMI) PMI is a self-paced interactive courseware designed specifically for small arms development, sustainment and qualification straight from FM 3-22.9. Soldiers are allowed to practice grouping and can advance to the zeroing phase once six rounds impact within the 4cm diameter circle. Once this occurs, the zeroing process will instruct Soldiers through adjusting physical sights on simulated weapons to obtain the required six rounds within the 4cm circle on the target to pass. Instruction Grouping Sight Adjustments Zeroing Qualify

MMTS Preliminary Marksmanship Instruction (PMI) Soldiers will transition directly to the 25M ALT-C course and qualify using all tables and appropriate rounds. An AAR will illustrate each shot location and differentiate tables by color. Final scores will post for review and results can be printed or exported to a spreadsheet for training records. The 300m pop-up course and others are also included. Minimizes Safety Concerns Less Stressful for Shooters Provides Needed Repetition Immediate Feedback Can be used Indoors Reduces Ammunition Costs Saves Valuable Time Improved Results Soldiers View ALT-C Target AAR

MMTS Judgmental Training Software Immersive interactive video based training Soldiers can interact with threatening opponents on the screen in office environments to assess threats and react to active shooter situations. Leaders can evaluate Soldiers performance with comprehensive AAR features within JTS and coach based on current engagement policies. Choose from scenario library or custom create mission specific training scenarios Instructor Screen Target Zoning Scenario Multiple Outcome Tree

MMTS Crosshair Magnified Optics Simulator The MMTS is compatible with Laser Shot Simulations Crosshair, a virtual long range engagement optic trainer. Crosshair consists of proprietary VBS3 plug-ins that integrates with existing VBS assets to provide reticle overlays and optic properties with accurate ballistic models to be used with select Laser Shot s simulated weapons. The high fidelity simulated optics contains a micro display that duplicates the projected virtual environment inside the device and magnifies the image based on the numerous settings controlled by the Crosshair GUI. Instructors can monitor a Soldiers reticle as they acquire and engage virtual targets on a separate monitor for evaluation. Optics Image Simulator Weapon Options

MMTS Summary The MMTS addresses emergent threats and current marksmanship concerns with proven simulator technology that directly support the transfer of skills to improve individual results. It also goes to the next level and provides advanced training opportunities with dynamic virtual targetry or interactive scenarios to develop additional skills. Simulation quickly pays for itself when quantifying the costs of the alternative: ammunition, time, labor, plus the potential injury to Soldiers when advanced marksmanship training is conducted. Simulator training is a smart use of time and tax-payer dollars in the face of diminishing resources. The implementation of Laser Shot s Mobile Marksmanship Training Simulators by the US Army, US Army Reserve and US ARMY National Guard is a training enabler to continually build training and readiness in our Soldiers.

MSAR Modular Small Arms Range The SRT Division s flagship, Modular Small Arms Range is an ideal solution for National Guard and Reserve units to maintain small arms proficiency without requiring extensive travel, or encountering range scheduling difficulties at offsite ranges. MSAR is a complete turnkey indoor shooting range; including true 360-degree positive ballistic containment (ZERO-SDZ), ventilation system, bullet trap, target system, shooting stalls, lighting, communications, security access system, control room with ballistic viewing window, range entry vestibule / sound lock, touch screen automation system, anti-ricochet treatment, and comprehensive acoustic treatment (exterior AND interior). It is the ONLY indoor range with certified containment of the new M80A1 and M855A1 EPR ammo. Available in clear-span widths of 16 to 48 and lengths to 100 meters, the MSAR is capable of being disassembled, moved and reassembled with a minimum of waste/material replacement; making it eligible for NGREA procurement.
