NRTHWEST IWA MMUNITY LLEGE SHELDN, IWA JB DESRIPTIN TITLE: DIVISIN: SUPERVISR: BASI UNTIN: QUALIIATINS: ull Time Evening ustodian (2:30 to 11:00 p.m. Monday through riday) ollege perations and inance Evening ustodian/supervisor The ustodian will maintain cleanliness of buildings and equipment in all respects; keep the Evening ustodial/supervisor informed of incidents requiring action and/or replacement; handle minor repairs within their resources; assist or fill in temporarily on other jobs as assigned by the Manager of Physical acilities; recommend more efficient or better ways to complete tasks and improve safety; initiate and follow a preventive maintenance process; and perform daily and scheduled housekeeping duties as required. Required High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Graduate of building, grounds, and maintenance or equivalent program. More than two years of work experience. DESIRED QUALITIES AND HARATERISTIS: 1. Experience working in custodial field or floor maintenance. 2. Knowledge of floor care, terrazzo, tile and carpet, and floor care equipment. 3. Knowledge of maintenance and custodial equipment. 4. Skilled in operation of floor machines, buffers, extractor, wet vac, and auto scrubber. 5. Able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. 6. Able to communicate and get along with co-workers 7. Able to work alone without supervision. DUTIES/RESPNSIBILITIES: Duties include, but are not limited to, the following 1. Keeping accurate and up-to-date timesheets. 2. Signing out supplies taken from maintenance supply. 3. Knowledge of proper use of floor care equipment. 4. Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and emptying trash and butt containers. 5.
