We are a group of high-performing, next-generation leaders that have a passion for advancing the Philippines and the Filipino people. FYLPRO is a nonprofit organization, which annually recognizes and selects ten outstanding young Filipinos from across the United States. The leaders shall participate in a week-long trip to the Philippines to dialogue with key leaders in government, business, media and community-building. The organization recognizes the need for young leaders to have a stronger connection with the Philippines and to immerse delegates in the country s current political and socio-economic climate. The program helps our FYLPRO leaders better position themselves in advocating for the Filipino- American community. Today, FYLPRO continues to work on ventures to give back to the community in Legacy Projects. These projects are as diverse as its alumni roster, from leadership summits, launching political campaigns to seek for elected office, creation of social enterprises that feature Philippines culture and traditions, or through collaboration with other entities with similar values. We invite you to become a partner and seek for your support to uphold our mission to represent the Filipino community in numbers and credibility, to discover, design and define the Filipino brand, and to bridge Filipinos with Fil- Am issues. This is our passion. Your financial contribution will help advance the organization s objectives, and turn great ideas into projects with lasting impacts to the community. We hope you consider the sponsorship opportunities attached. Please contact me at (808) 291-9407 or at kitzulueta@yahoo.com. Information about FYLPRO is available on www.fylpro.org. Maraming salamat po! Sincerely, KIT ZULUETA President FYLPRO Alum 2012 Young Fil-Ams are changing the landscape of the Filipino community in the United States. They need to be part of the discussion and deserve the support of generations before them. - Philippine Ambassador to the United States Jose L. Cuisia Jr, FYLPRO Founder

W H A T W E D O 1. FYLPRO Immersion Program In partnership with the Ayala Foundation and the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs, the FYLPRO s Immersion Program started in 2012 when founder Jose Cuisia, Jr, former Philippine Ambassador the United States recognized the need for the younger generation to have a seat on the table. The top 10 is a result of a nationwide search conducted annually, with careful review and vetting in an application process. Since then, 50 outstanding leaders have graduated from the program, creating a robust network of shared ideals. Alumni hold reputable leadership positions in government, business, education and culture and volunteer their time to improving the nonprofit. The Philippines and the United States both face unique challenges this year. The program promises to continue the aspirations of young Filipino leaders to create a better community. Access to top government leaders FYLPRO delegates have the opportunity to ask the tough questions and hear from top government leaders President, Vice President, Senate President, Speaker of the House, Senators, House Representatives and dialogue with Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs Secretary, and other cabinet members on tourism, labor, health, workforce and education. Business networking Annual partners Ayala Corporation, Makati Business Club and American Chamber of Commerce invite key members of top corporations in the Philippines to meet the delegates. Discovering roots and giving back A community day is typically scheduled to immerse the delegates in social challenges in the Philippines, whether through building houses, feeding the hungry or spending time in an adoption center. A cultural tour is usually included to remind participants of our history, traditions and values.

2. Legacy Projects All the knowledge and experience provided by FYLPRO are translated into social impact Legacy Projects to give back to the community. These are alumni ventures focused on the Philippines and Filipino communities abroad, such as social enterprises, philanthropic causes, or civic engagement activities. Through community partners like you, we are able to consider providing seed money or start-up funding for these ventures. 3. Fly-in events Though based in different parts of the world from Guam, Hawaii, California, Texas, Chicago to New York FYLRPO alumni are committed to continuing their education and sharing our mission through occasional Fly-ins.
