Section 1 Application Information Application Submissions Please Note: 1. INSETA Bursary funding will be made available for qualifications offered only through Public Universities, Public Universities Business Schools and Public FET Colleges 2. Bursary Funds will be disbursed at the discretion of INSETA in line with the INSETA s Discretionary Grant Policy and Guidelines. a. Only employed people will be eligible for Bursary funding 3. Bursary Fund Applications must be submitted to INSETA before commencement of the Qualification to be funded. Additional Requirements Applications for Bursary Fund will in addition be subject to the following: * The availability of INSETA Bursary funds; * Racial profile of the learners applied for must satisfy the NSDS III Key Transformational and Developmental Imperatives. * The Learners racial profile must be as follows: Black (85%), Women (54%), and People with Table of Disabilities Contents (4%). * Where the Employer is a skills levy payer with INSETA; levy payments must be up to date; and WSP & ATR must have been submitted to INSETA. * Where the Employer is not a levy payer, written proof from SARS or from the company s accountant, on the accountant s letterhead, confirming exemption to pay levies, must be submitted to INSETA; In addition the WSP and ATR must have been submitted. * The qualification for which Bursary Funding is applied must be in line with the Scarce and Critical Skills identified in the current INSETA Sector Skills Plan; * All applications must be submitted electronically to BursaryYR15@inseta.org.za Communication of decisions Decisions in respect of Bursary funding applications will be communicated in writing by INSETA to the applicant prior to commencement of study together with the Bursary funding reference number.
