If you didn t attend you missed out on a very special day. This day is always a enjoyable even, as it signals the end of winter and prepares us for spring and our outdoor activities. One of the truly nice things about this event is getting together with fellow club members and eating good food in a relaxed atmosphere. Many people helped once again this year and I would like to thank everyone for their for their assistance in setting up the tables and chairs and again putting everything away. Also, for the Weiss Family and friend for handling the dishes you guys rock at dish time!!! Thanks so much!! We Can Not forget our cooks and assistants who brought us the meal... Saturday s cooking crew: Lyle Lubenow and Nancy Bertsch cooked the Italian sausages, Paulette Gallatin and Linda Veda took care of the bulk Italian, Jolene Zimdars was whipping the pasta into shape while Sharon Golden mixed the rest of the ingredients for the Secrete Sauce. Sunday Diane Stefonich made the garlic bread while Jack Zimdars kept the hot pasta well supplied, Sheryl and Sharon handled the Sauce and Sausage, while Betsy took the orders and Dawn collected the money. Thanks to everyone that brought desserts we had a wonderful selection of yummy ones. Thank you to all club members and friends that made this a special day. Back page 16 1
