KANSAS HUMANITIES COUNCIL annual report to donors 2011 Dear Friends, Thank you for making 2011 a special year for the Kansas Humanities Council. In Kansas sesquicentennial year, over 48,000 Kansans attended KHC-supported Statehood lectures, presentations, book discussions, film discussions, and exhibitions and discussed what it means to be a Kansan over time and across generations. KHC s success in 2011 is the result of collaboration between talented people across the state: Friends of the Humanities, local project directors, event participants, humanities scholars, and KHC s Board of Directors and staff. We appreciate your support of the humanities in Kansas and we offer this report to you. Julie L.
