ThuswasborntheInternationalFellowshipofScoutingRotarians(IFSR).Numberingover1,000membersworld wideatthepresenttime,ifsrpromotestherotarymottoof ServiceAboveSelf.AfterapprovalfromRotary International,IFSRjoinedtheover90differentFellowshipsandActionGroupssanctionedbyRotaryInternational inwhichactiverotariansmaysharetheirinterestsandhobbies. LikeoriginalScouting,thefirstsuchgroupwaslocatedintheBritishIsles(RIBI)andisnowthroughouttheRotary andscoutingworlds.canada,easternrussia,unitedstates,mexicoandthecaribbeanwereformedintothein teramericanregion.theifsrisstructuredalongthelinesoftheworldorganizationofscoutmovement,which hassixdistinctregionsofareasforadministrativepurposes Africa,AsiaPacific,Arabian,European,Urasian,and Interamerican. TheIFSSRisagroupofRotariansdedicatedtopromotetheScoutingMovementinternationally.ThisFellowship operatesinaccordancewithrotaryinternationalpolicy,butisnotanagencyof,orcontrolledbyrotaryinterna tional.
