Who is eligible to apply? You can apply if you are a Hyde resident. The grant is available for all children living in Hyde owned homes (including looked after children) across all Hyde regions. To qualify children must be under 18 years of age. You are able to apply for one grant for each child. You can apply for each child in your household although there are yearly maximum award limits per household. If a child has benefitted from a Do More! grant before (previously known as Hyde Young Pride Awards) you are able to apply again as long as this is at least 12 months after the date of your last successful application. Our Grants Team can help you with this if you are unsure when the child last benefitted from a grant. If you agree with the following three statements then you are eligible to apply: 1. I am a Hyde resident named on a Hyde tenancy, applying on behalf of a young Hyde resident(s) aged up to 18 and named on a Hyde tenancy 2. I can supply one written reference on letter headed paper, or provided by email from an organisational email account. 3. I need 200 or less (one child) or 400 or less (household total) to support the activity. These limits may be higher if your child has a disability. When to apply The Do More! Grant Fund is open all year round and applications are assessed frequently. It can take up to 4 weeks to hear a decision about your application and, if approved, a further 2 4 weeks to process payment so it is best to apply well in advance of when you want your activity to take place. 5
